I have read quite a few books about bikers lifes and this feels the nost honest out of any of them. The Aussie way is very different but they sure know how to lay it down how it was unlike cop books and snitch dribble.

This book is a ton of fun. If you loved Mimic and me by Cassius Lange, Ryan Tang, as well as books in the Gotrek and Felix by William King, then you will love this book.
Speaking of which this has more humor then both, the pacing is rather brisk but not rushed, comparable to an all day D&D one off campaign its similar in length.
The word use is quite good, I had to look up a few words which is refreshing. This book is packed with references, some conscious, some subconscious.Rule Anne is a great nod to the true crime author Ann Rule. Now the setting completely threw me through a loop, i did not expect it to be set in an almost shogunate like setting.

If it was any other man

This would still be a great book on abusive relationships, anyone in a caustic relationship should read this after. Having prior context is helpful but not necessary, and its good to see Liz & Molly get to say thier story. Remember survivors guilt is real, they dwell on the fact that they are alive while so many are not, they dont deserve the Phantom Prince's infamy.
