Can’t express how much I enjoyed this book. Almost every character feels like an old friend or someone I’ve known they’re developed so well. I hate that I’ve finished the book. I already miss Frankie & Nora & Damian & Joe & all the others.
Wish there was more, but it’s written just right. I laughed & cried & all the sloppy emotions in between. Following Frankie’s life has been pure pleasure. So was listening to Graham Norton read his own work. Great performance that only enhanced the written word. Highly recommend.

A Standout Mystery

First Libby Cudmore book I’ve read/listened to & absolutely loved it. A great mystery superbly plotted with plenty of twists, but the characters are stellar. I approached it with apprehension because of the problems with addicts, but every aspect felt authentic, heartbreaking at times & uplifting at others. These aren’t characters but people I’d be proud to know.

My new favorite book! Sorry I’m done listening to it. I’ll probably read it now in a couple of weeks. This is my favorite Karen Slaughter book & that’s saying something. If you haven’t read any Will Trent’s, don’t worry. You can read this as if a stand alone & love it completely. As always, Kathleen Early does an outstanding audio book performance!!

Interesting but…

Had trouble getting into it at first then I was immersed in the story. Ending left me wanting. Author is a really talented writer, but as a reader I don’t like to be left hanging. Don’t mind done things open ended but this didn’t do it for me.
