Historia
Six years had passed since the redoubtable knight Sparhawk had triumphed over the evil God Azash and returned to Elenia with Queen Ehlana, his bride. And now a new danger had arisen to threaten the peace of Ehlana's realm. The trouble had started quietly. At home, bandits began to plague the hill country. In neighboring Lamorkand, the customary political unrest turned ominous with whispers that the bloody heroes of old soon would rise again.

pronunciation of narrator
Revisado: 10-14-17
I really like this even though it has a different narrator from the first trilogy. I have no problem with the switch of narrators except I wish they had gotten together on the pronunciation of names in the story. Every time a character appeared for the first time it took me a bit to realize who it was because the pronunciation of the name was so different. It slowed down my enjoyment of the story for the first several chapters as I puzzled out what Kevin Pariseau was saying. Sometimes the difference was so great that I could only figure out which character it was from the context of the story. If you didn't listen to the first trilogy (and that's not necessary to enjoy this one although it does add to the enjoyment), this won't bother you

So he invites all the young serramar to the royal city to court his daughter. To protect Amalie from any unsavory suitors, the mystic Cammon is installed to monitor all of Amalie's courtships, because Cammon is a reader who can tell if someone harbors violence or malevolence in his heart.
