This whole series is amazing can’t get enough of Skippy, Joe and the marry band of pirates task force hammer was an amazing change of pace from the normal oh no crises Joe and Skippy save day to Joe to now it’s like listening to a perfect storm of events i can’t wait to find out what happens next

Set aside time for this one - worth it

This was very well written, the tapestry painted with the word precisely chosen made for an enjoyable experience that might make you miss a few precious hours of sleep.
Characters well developed and wonderful.
Might need a trigger warning for sexual assault survivors, but the story had enough suspense moments coupled with a very strong main character making it carry you through nicely.

Fever Dream come to life

This is a good solid story, good performance. It is what would happen if Louis Carroll met Rob Zombie over some absinthe and said “Hey man, I had this crazy dream last night”, and Rob just ran with it. If he did this would be the next autumn’s block buster supernatural dystopian thriller.

The descriptive language coupled with the performance makes you connect with the characters and scenes in such a moving way which is honestly too bad. (Don’t worry you will recover)

This could be a much better book, it has promise. The main character garners a little sympathy, feeling like his life didn’t turn out as planned after high-school. The problem is he never has really grown past that high school mindset. The storyline gets lost unfortunately for both books 1 and 2 as a result of random hook ups that make no sense. It really gets a little repetitive, you end up fast forwarding a lot.

Honestly a great quirky story

The story manages to bring you into the character’s world in such a way that you can almost experience the adventure without being exhaustively verbose.
The quirky mistakes and misgivings create an endearing connection for a light paranormal rom com.
Love this looking forward to another.

Have you thought about the screen?

This series would make an incredible anime, the characters and story would translate well into that format. The story is rich the development of individuals is enough to create a bond between reader and storyline that makes you root for your favorite. At times the very colorful imagery in the main character’s inner monologue distracts from the inertia of the story and creates a frustrating listen. I am sure in print that avid readers will not notice nor would it cause a problem on the screen. Nicely done I look forward to a screen debut.

Beautiful Voice work for a mediocre work

What did you like best about Prince Lestat? What did you like least?

Pop ups from old favorite characters were nice everyone got a cameo, however the references to other books and flash backs were tedious and seemed to rehash items unnecessarily. Some descriptions were verbose while others lacking.Normally a huge Rice supporter this time however I find myself regretting this purchase, due to content rather than quality.

Would you ever listen to anything by Anne Rice again?
