Historia
Fresh off his latest case, Attorney Nate Shepherd takes in some local high school football, hoping that a Friday night under the lights will give him a chance to relax with his family. It does - until the quarterback’s brother is arrested in the middle of the game. Nate jumps in to represent the brother, who stands accused of a crime far worse than anyone imagined. As the internet rains fury down on his new client and a merciless prosecutor maneuvers to put the young man away, Nate scrambles to find out what happened and why. But no one, anywhere, seems to be telling him the truth.

Well, written book with lots of plot twists

I’ve listen to this entire series, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Along the lines of John Grisham it is masterful legal thriller at its finest.

Historia
April Clarke-Cliveden was the first person Hannah Jones met at Oxford. Vivacious, bright, occasionally vicious, and the ultimate It girl, she quickly pulled Hannah into her dazzling orbit. Together, they developed a group of devoted and inseparable friends—Will, Hugh, Ryan, and Emily—during their first term. By the end of the year, April was dead.

The narrator was fine, but where was this audiobook produced, in a warehouse somewhere?
Revisado: 08-01-22
Sounds like a constant echo in the background of this book. Like the Narrator was underwater, or in an empty echoing room.

Historia
To Rebecca it was a brave decision that led to her freedom from domestic abuse. To Solomon it was the ultimate betrayal. It's been ten years since Rebecca's testimony saw Solomon locked away. Enough time for the nightmares to recede, the nerves to relax; enough time to rebuild her life and put the past behind her. Then one day a phone rings in her bedroom - but it's not her phone.

Surprisingly great!

I was expecting this to be another run-of-the-mill psychological thriller, but boy was I surprised! Lots of good twists and turns and overall an excellent read. You are not wasting your money on this one!

Historia
Thirty-three-year-old Shea Rigsby has spent her entire life in Walker, Texas - a small college town that lives and dies by football, a passion she unabashedly shares. Raised alongside her best friend, Lucy, the daughter of Walker’s legendary head coach, Clive Carr, Shea was too devoted to her hometown team to leave. Instead she stayed in Walker for college, even taking a job in the university athletic department after graduation, where she has remained for more than a decade.

Not worth the credit
Revisado: 05-28-14
What disappointed you about The One & Only?
The narriator had a very "unsouthern" accent. It was very forced and whiny. The story line was just gross and weird. I kept hoping it wasn't going where it was, but it went there!
What was most disappointing about Emily Giffin’s story?
It was very predictable. I wasn't a fan of the May/December romance. It seemed very weird and out of place.
Would you be willing to try another one of Sofia Willingham’s performances?
She wasn't the worst I have heard but definately not the best either.
What character would you cut from The One & Only?
Not one in particular.
