Historia
Reborn into a fantastical RPG-system based world, Fresh is offered a second chance at life. Initially glad to have escaped her old existence, she quickly realizes that this new one might not be much better. Her new body is too frail to follow any grand dreams of adventure, her new mind is too dulled to allow any meticulous planning or thought, and this new, seemingly colorful, kind world is anything but.

Dont. Just dont.

If you like books with no personal character development. Story development when its 30 min left of the story and an idiot mc that only whines and makes no good decisions. And a crafting system that is like minecraft. Then this book is for you. Remember you will never get these hours back. Use them hitting yourself with a hammer instead.

Historia
Tim and his friends find out the hard way that you shouldn't question the game master, and you shouldn't make fun of his cape. One minute, they're drinking away the dreariness of their lives, escaping into a fantasy game and laughing their asses off. The next minute, they're in a horse-drawn cart surrounded by soldiers pointing crossbows at them.

Omnipotent villains make for boring books.
Revisado: 01-29-23
The omnipotent antagonist is so bad that the book gets low review. Read another book instead. Unless you want to read about mc’s that make decissions that ultimatly does not matter.

Historia
Monsters and beasts roamed the earth and were slain by soldiers and adventurers who were, in turn, killed by stronger threats. Heroes and villains created new epics and were forgotten when their successors appeared. This was the way of the Infinite World. Summoned into this chaotic place, a young boy with no name and no past must learn to survive. Bound to a master who doesn't care whether he lives or dies, he must become stronger. The question is: how?

Positive surprise as a litrpg
Revisado: 01-15-23
Easy listening entertaining litrpg. After listening to this book, continuing this series was an easy choice. Good narration. Would love some more clever sollitions to how the MC solves problems. But maybe we will get that in coming books.

A step down for Andrew Rowe
Revisado: 12-10-22
I quite liked this book, Even though it is like listening to a roleplaying session with players who all have the same view of the world, but with made up flaws for flavour text. I find myself very little invested in the characters, but I guess i am not the target audience. And this is ment for a younger crowd than earlier books.

Historia
From the moment Dara of Westwood spied the Silver Headed Raptor nesting in Rundeval Peak, the precocious redheaded 12-year-old girl was enchanted. The youngest daughter of the Master of the Wood lived in ramshackle Westwood Hall, in the independently minded Westwood estate of Sevendor. Her determination to capture a baby falcon and train it wasn’t hampered by the fact that Dara had never climbed a mountain, had never been trained in falconry, or even remotely had permission from her father to do it.

Slow start, read in a lamenting way
Revisado: 08-10-19
I love Terry Mancours books, but this was a small disappointment. This “coming of age” book had a very slow start but got a lot better half way through. My main issue was Finty Williams reading. The main character is described as a curious adventurous and exploring young girl, so why she is read in a lamenting way with a drop in pitch and a breath at the end of every sentence is beyond me. The climax of the main characters efforts is being read like she is depressed. This said it got a lot better and with more variation after we were half way through the book. No idea why, maybe she finally liked the book and the characters she was describing. My savior was the ability to listen to the book at 1.25* speed. It helped the depressing narration a lot. I guess it might be just me. But I believe that trying to ad weight to a story by reading slowly and with a breath is a bit unnecessary. Don’t give up though. It gets better

Great performance
Revisado: 08-03-18
Nick podehl’s performance saves this book, It is worth getting for his performance alone. This said, the writing of the characters are a bit too boring for my liking. Too little difference in their wants and beliefs, and i catch myself not caring if they live or die. But dont worry, the writer loves all the characters soo much that none of them will ever die.
