Brilliant. The beyond satisfying, behind the scenes perspective of Callum from The Cruel Dark. As the light of perspective shifts, so do the shadows, and Willowfield, though the same, feels new again.

Worth the cliches for the diamonds

No doubt you've heard many of these self-help cliches before, in one form or another, but you've never heard them in the context of the forging of David Goggins. His story is a fantastic one, and told well by the narrator and David himself. I'd consider a lot of what he's put himself through just plain stupid, but once he takes up the mission of discovering himself through obtaining a PhD in pain and discomfort and then continuing on for post-doctoral fellowships in the same, what he says and what he's done can make one really take a hard and frank look at themselves.

If you're looking to kill 2 hours, let Sutherland read you Old Man and the Sea. I may end up listening to it again at some point.

James Comey would never run or stand a chance at being elected of he did run, but he and those rare few like him would be just what this country needs: an ethical leader.
