Great History of the Unknown

A well written and narrated history of the American Plains Indians. I always believed the Apaches and Sioux were the most feared of all Indigenous tribes. Great history of Quana Parker and what an outstanding and ruthless warrior he must have been.

The absolute best characters and narration comes from any of the Joe Ledger series. If an audio book isn’t narrated by Ray Porter I probably won’t listen. Porters numerous voices are freaking outstanding and Jonathan Mayberry books are mind boggling GREAT!!!!! This is my second time listening to this book. I am painting my house and the Joe Ledger Rogue Team books are making the mind numbing brush strokes more than bearable!!! Thanks!!!! Gunnerman423

Fantastic History of the Old West!!!

I’ve listened to a lot of audiobooks in my life and one this might be one of the best! I’m a huge history buff and I thought I knew a lot about the American Indian, Custers last stand, and the life of Custer and his men. This book was totally enlightening. I’ve read many books by Stephen Ambrose and he is an incredible author and the narration was extremely good which always leads to a tremendous listening experience!!!

Once I began listening I had to finish! My favorite character Joe is going to get some serious payback. I wouldn’t want to be Harcourt Bolton Sr. Or Raphael Santoro!!! New book comes a day after my birthday so what a nice present for me on my 70th birthday!

I could listen to R.C. Bray reading Encyclopedia Brittanica and enjoy it so it is no surprise that he was his usual phenomenal self in Odyssey. Thanks to Stephen for filling in the gap that was Homer’s journey to find his family. Great characters abound in this stand alone and I cannot wait for the next book in the greatest ZA series ever written!
