not funny at all
Revisado: 10-12-21
I was expecting a romantic comedy. And this was romance but there was very little to no comedy in it. It was difficult to get all the way through it.

Historia
On the afternoon of August 20, 1910, a battering ram of wind moved through the drought-stricken national forests of Washington, Idaho, Montana, whipping the hundreds of small blazes burning across the forest floor into a roaring inferno that jumped from treetop to ridge as it raged, destroying towns and timber in an eyeblink. Forest rangers had assembled nearly 10,000 men - college boys, day-workers, immigrants from mining camps - to fight the fires. But no living person had seen anything like those flames, and neither the rangers nor anyone else knew how to subdue them.

loved it
Revisado: 04-01-21
The writing is little simplistic however I feel like that's normal for this genre. I loved the coming of age story it was very reminiscence of twilight or Divergent.

sweet story

This was a very sweet relatable story. My only complaint is when I found this book it was under funny romance. This book has little to no comical aspects.

This is about all those emotions that people usually lock inside of themselves: the eagerness to experience something new, the thrill of getting a reaction from your partner, a need to experience something better, to have great and hot chemistry with a forbidden fruit, a thought of pushing boundaries, the nervousness while testing new limitations, a help to learn more, the satisfaction of tasting a unique flavor, and, last but not least, a feeling of contentment.

Lucy Hutton has always been certain that the nice girl can get the corner office. She's charming and accommodating and prides herself on being loved by everyone at Bexley & Gamin. Everyone except for coldly efficient, impeccably attired, physically intimidating Joshua Templeman. And the feeling is mutual. Trapped in a shared office together 40 (ok, 50 or 60) hours a week, they've become entrenched in an addictive, ridiculous never-ending game of one-upmanship.

Fun and sassy
Revisado: 02-06-20
It was a fun listen that kept you engaged entertaining. this book wasn't especially thought provoking and not basic reality. The narrator was constantly swallowing and I found it really distracting.

Historia
In 1942, the Gestapo sent out an urgent transmission: "She is the most dangerous of all Allied spies. We must find and destroy her." The target in their sights was Virginia Hall, a Baltimore socialite who talked her way into Special Operations Executive, the spy organization dubbed Winston Churchill's "Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare." She became the first Allied woman deployed behind enemy lines and - despite her prosthetic leg - helped to light the flame of the French Resistance, revolutionizing secret warfare as we know it.

the story was a little lackluster and definitely not as funny as Molly Harper's last few bucks. I'm not sure if it's worth the cost.
