A Romp With The Boys
Revisado: 07-20-15
Would you listen to Glen & Tyler's Honeymoon Adventure again? Why?
Most likely. It was fun to get inside the head of a couple of gay guys. It was a pretty eye-opening experience.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Glen & Tyler's Honeymoon Adventure?
Anything with Nanna in it. That woman is freaking awesome.
Which character – as performed by Brian Rollins – was your favorite?
Nanna and Tim were stand outs. Loved the energy and emotion he brought to those characters.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
The tag line from the book works: "Come for the romance, stay for the hockey."
Any additional comments?
I grabbed this book as I'm a big Brian Rollins fan. I was surprised how much I would enjoy "gay fiction." I had it in my head that this would be guy-on-guy action, but it's just a fun story that happens to star a gay couple. I think we need more books (and other media) like this.

Beautifully Tragic Tale
Revisado: 07-15-15
What did you love best about These Gentle Wounds?
I wasn't sure what to expect, but I wasn't disappointed. This is a well-written teenage story. No over-wrought emotions here, this kid is clearly suffering from severe PTSD, but managing it and not using it as an excuse for not living life. Powerful
What did you like best about this story?
Gordie and his brother were truly brothers. They act like real brothers. They fight, they bicker, but in the end, they have each others' backs.
Have you listened to any of Brian Rollins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was very different from the last book I listened to, Errors and Omissions. What a range! From hard-boiled gay detectives to traumatized teenagers. Mr. Rollins is a narrator to watch for in the coming years.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
"Mend With Care"
Any additional comments?
I hope Ms. Dunbar plans to put other books out in audio. And I hope she uses Mr. Rollins again. His somber voice matched her melancholy words beautifully.

A Tense Thrill Ride
Revisado: 07-15-15
Would you listen to Errors and Omissions again? Why?
Yes. I found the narration engaging and powerful. I plan on listening again to catch any clues I missed along the way. This a fantastic thriller that was entertaining as well and suspenseful.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Errors and Omissions?
The final showdown. It was tense, descriptive, and gut-wrenching. Way to get our emotions caught up in the characters!
Which character – as performed by Brian Rollins – was your favorite?
All of them. But if I had to pick one, the main characters, Kirk and Austin were top-notch. I plan on getting other books narrated by Mr. Rollins shortly.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
There were several, but to name them would be to spoil the book. Let's just say Austin is a complex and deep character that nearly brought me to tears.
Any additional comments?
Fantastic. I hope Mr. James puts more books up on Audible. Thankfully, Mr. Rollins has a wide variety of audiobooks and I plan on consuming them all. What a great talent and superb voice.
