Tim Keller does a good job with Judges but then he breaks his own rule in the end. He has said that you need to sum up the argument of someone you wish to criticize in a way they would recognise. Biblical revelation comes from God and the Bible is canon. If God gives revelation to someone it must agree with scripture. Now then go from there.

i would recommend this book to a friend, with the thought that he is a smart guy and will challenge you. i have a different understanding of who Jesus is and consequently who i am.

Jesus because i saw how much of culture was arrayed against him and yet he continued his mission.

This book takes us back to the Church as God set it up. This book helps the relational, tribal aspects of the Bile to be seen. It is permission not to play with the dinosaur.
