The author is really bad at consistency. Originally it is explained that Demon Lords and Heroes are literally the same thing, just a matter of perspective. Then it goes back to them being completely separate things. That is just one example. Then there is the problem of no characters outside the MC, harem, friend, and enemies. Even then it's mostly the MC whining about his power. Instead of training to gain control, he whines about it when he loses control.

Interesting idea, but told in a boring way or distracting way. Very first chapter makes it seem like we are starting the story after his two previous portals, but then we go back to a talk with his sister and start time skipping like crazy.

The MC is kinda boring and pessimistic.

Story is well written

But I am tired of this depression. 2/3 of the book felt like setup. I was like "finally, we are going to get some progress" instead it's more of the same. I get the character is supposed to be kinda a ignorant of how the cultivators operate. But he doesn't try to better his situation. Gets a combat orb, doesn't do any combat for most of the book. The worst is there is supposed to be laws that would protect the kid, but those in power don't enforce it.

Besides the lengthy stats which could have been at the end of the book in one chapter, the amount of "and", "and then" can be annoying especially with the small pauses. Otherwise, a okay overpowered MC story.

Needed Rework

Chapters needed to be combined. More male characters that are not idiots or enemies. Less throwing a full harem at the MC right out of the gate. More character development with the dragons.

Honestly, this feels inspired by The Darkness comic book and Romeo & Juliet. I still don't understand how the Light thinks the Darkness is evil or confuse them with demons. They choose to be ignorant most likely.

Some potential, but rushed. Not a fan of the setting. It's like a poor Lovecraft world. The magic makes me think druids. Also, where is the skills? They get mention, but it's more cultivator instead of system.
