Historia
Fischer has everything he needs in life: blossoming friendships, a menagerie of cute animal companions, a waterfront property with easy access to fishing, and enough coffee to take out a small elephant or a really big dog. Unfortunately, Fischer can’t catch a break. Cosmic forces? Still throwing curveballs. The bigwigs in the capital? Starting to sniff around his business. Cults? Still culting. Plus, awakened beings are washing up on his shores like flotsam after a storm. And worst of all? His coffee guy ghosted him!

Infuriating story telling
Revisado: 07-18-24
If you wanted fishing, alienation and heresy it's barely here, buried under romance, talks about feelings, every other animal to bird TO INSECT being awakened instead of you know A fish in a book about fishing. The main character is a cheap knock off of a popular and frankly more enjoyable book series. The non MC characters are all more competent than the supposedly educated and trained MC, even a stubborn and unlikeable character named Roger has more critical thinking skills than the MC. WHERE'S THE FISHING, Most fishing is either the MC's love interest taking the spot light or just skipping the fishing part and just talking about cooking. I could go on but I have to say something good or this won't be constructive criticism it's got a great narrator and good world building what I would like more snipets of but I can't get everything I want in life. Overall? 6/10

Historia
Following the devastating attack on Yaresh, its people are left to pick up the pieces. The city lies in ruins, but its decimated defenders have more to deal with than just reconstruction. Jason's actions during the battle have brought unwelcome attention from allies and enemies alike. While the adventurers question his loyalty, the messengers question his very nature. Both have designs on Jason that he intends to thwart, but a danger comes to light that shifts everyone's agenda.

This needs to be retconned then scrubbed from the internet but not for the reasons you think
Revisado: 04-10-24
in short, This book is bull, It's good bull but still bull. Jason, our intrepid little rapscallion, is once again doing the impossible and now it's expected of him. he's still a little unstable and the writer is pulling people hostile to him out his buttocks and to close open ends. Honestly, I felt this book to be redundant and could have been condensed into a prelude for the 11th book. The author could have done better with this, as this just feels mundane to what he's/she's done before. If there's going to be a next book, I would expect a bit more than a cliffhanger.

Not afraid to break the forth wall
Revisado: 09-29-23
It's a very entertaining book to listen to, the main character for their fun loving nature sure has a background that moved my heart a little. This book had me at multiple points wanting to write a positive review in the middle of it and I can say that the shilling at the end of it is refreshing.

Historia
Douglas crash lands on the planet Evengi Prime and proceeds to do what he does best: Repetitive chaos. He tries to set a plastic table on fire and makes a few pretty pink mushroom clouds, but luckily the planet is long dead and its current inhabitants are incapable of lodging complaints. He then finds a new friend in a familiar body, who helps him make sense of the strange world while getting used as a test dummy for new spells.

Honestly Mid
Revisado: 09-21-22
The End is not satisfying and should've ended a bit earlier on a cliffhanger instead of the rubbish we got. The skeleton is now upgraded from down right retarded to Asperger's syndrome. However being forced to listen to others view points other than the skeletons is annoying and refreshing. Not enough bone related jokes.

Historia
Douglas is a simple summoned skeleton, formed from an old battlefield when some ancient fossil of a necromancer raised him for a nefarious purpose...Douglas loves life, the simple joy of doing repetitive tasks is all that's needed to keep his clacking bones satisfied. But just after he completed his most recent task, the wizard he was fighting took out a weird crystal…and now there are stars everywhere. Will the floating, freezing skeleton find out what happened? Or will that wrecked spaceship on a collision path be the last thing going through his empty skull?

A RETARDED SKELETON WINS THE DAY!!!
Revisado: 09-19-22
As the rather abt title entails, this severely mentally handicapped skeleton stumbles, crawls and screeches his way through magic and technology. This utterly ridiculous tale is a monotone, boring, retardation and horny clusterfuck of nonsense and hyper analytics.(being overly descript when a moderately attractive woman is spotted is a flaw of this author)

Historia
Jason arrives at a kingdom in peril and he's surprised to discover that it's not his job to save it. With the authorities fulfilling their responsibilities (for once), he looks forward to some quiet time to rest and recuperate. The locals might not find ceaseless monster onslaughts and an interdimensional invasion relaxing, but Jason has had a rough few years. He's doing his best to let go of his anger. While his team is caught up in duty, Jason has no shortage of people looking to interfere with his rest. Enemies—old and new—are circling, and even would-be allies are trouble.

Jason and therapy
Revisado: 09-16-22
This book felt more like a cry for help than Jason's adventures. Our poor lad, Jason has found himself back in Palamustus and as the book description entails is back in trouble. without spoiling too much, the ending was neatly tied up but not satisfying, this book the majority was entertaining to listen too but it was like watching a puppy that's fallen into a well and not being able to do anything about it. You just watch there, as the puppy struggles to stay above the water, then notices you and pleads for help with whimpers, it's legs are broken, waters bloody and the puppy is losing stamina to stay afloat with it's front broken legs awkward paddle. Dear Author, give Jason a break that's not just a slippery slope of a wells wall. Also, please be less racist even if you avoid strong words and write it up in a compliment. Please call them people, bringing unnecessary attention to their color no matter how tastefully you word it is uncalled for. Be more like Jason.

Historia
Strength comes not in victories. It comes from standing up after defeats, in reaching out a hand and pulling others to their feet. Of pushing others ahead of one’s self. Alvans must dig deep. They have paid a heavy price, a price felt in the hearts of every member. They started as a small group fighting to just survive in the first realm to a nation that challenged the combined United Sect Alliance. Instead of crumbling, they bared their teeth, they fought forces from the seventh realm. They bled their enemy every step of the way.

A good comeback!
Revisado: 01-02-22
This book does justice to the horrible end of book three and the gradual decline starting at book two. Safe to say, this book was definitely a rescue this series needed. This book is more indepth about Jasons inner termoil and is filled with lore not filler or useless information.

why go woke?
Revisado: 10-04-21
The story got heavily altered from the original, I'm sure. Does the author/editor have some sort of sexism complex and wants it reinforced constantly? Joe our main protag definitely got pushed to the sidelines and forced to be a fool. This is more like a teenage army drama than anything. Basic competency just vanished on this one
