This was an enjoyable listen, that I laughed at many times having been in very similar circumstances. The narrator was really good and often made me long for home. “Yes ma’am I’m a southern girl!” 😊 Sweet tea and fried okra!

Kept my attention!!

I really liked the character “Wild”! Is there going to be a sequel to this to let us know more about him, or did I miss something?
This is a book you really have to keep up with, and that’s why I didn’t get bored. Thanks for the good book and good narration!👍🏻😊

It took me a little while to get into this book, but when I did, I throughly enjoyed it. It’s nice to listen to a book that doesn’t have a lot of language, which makes it easier to recommend to others. The writer/narrator did a great job. Thanks for an enjoyable listen.👍🏻😊

“WOW!” This was a very good short story!

Thank you Kate and everyone else for a most enjoyable couple of hours! It did not fail to keep my attention, which is saying a lot! I’ll look forward to other books.
If there was anything I could have changed in the writing of this, it would have been some of the language. Some people still get a fended by use of certain words. It would make a good Hallmark movie otherwise.

Catches your attention from the very first page!!😊

I own several of this author’s books and I can’t say that I didn’t enjoy each and everyone of them, and this one didn’t fail to disappoint me. Lot of excitement and drama around every corner. The characters fall into that category “ You can’t judge a book by its cover.”
The narrator was great, and I’m picky about narrators. Thank you for keeping my interest!!

Wonderful thought invoking story!!

I wasn’t sure when I first started the story, but as it progressed it all started falling into place. Thank you Diane for writing a story that makes you think about life, and for having Susan Bennett bring it all to life and touch your emotions. With her wonderful narration. You both make a great team. Thank you bunches!!😊 Time well spent!

“IT WAS SO GOOD I MILKED IT OUT!”

I usually don’t use my credit to buy shorter books in listening length, but the sample had me laughing right off the bat. If you have ever had a dog that wouldn’t mind, then this is the book to listen to. I throughly enjoyed it and want to thank Rick Bragg for brightening up my day while I worked.

Great Listen!

Kept my attention for hours!! Has some really interesting stuff in it that makes you think!! Narrator was someone who drew you in and didn’t put you to sleep. Tomorrow I’m going shopping, just to have peace of mind. You’ll understand once you have listened. Looking forward to the next one in the series!

Loved and Laughed through this book!

If your from the south, especially a small town, then you will appreciate all the parts about a southern small town in this book. It does have some language and adult content in it though, so I guess what I’m saying is “it’s not for everyone.” But if you can let it roll off your shoulders, and appreciate what the story is about, this a great murder mystery that will keep your attention! Thank you for good book to occupy my time, and BIG thank you to the narrator, who never disappoints!!!!!😊😊
