Very colorful writing descriptions both physical and emotional were very well done. Soft southern local and settings were perfectly explained actually I don’t usually read this type of book but I loved it.

Historia
Detective Dave Robicheaux’s world isn’t filled with too many happy stories, but Desmond Cormier’s rags-to-riches tale is certainly one of them. Robicheaux first met Cormier on the streets of New Orleans, when the young, undersized boy had foolish dreams of becoming a Hollywood director. Twenty-five years later, when Robicheaux knocks on Cormier’s door, it's to ask about a young woman he found who’s been crucified. She disappeared near Cormier’s Cyrpemort Point estate, and Robicheaux, along with young Deputy Sean McClain, are looking for answers.

A little quick on the ending wrapping up loose ends but the build up is so good it makes up for it

Very good audio book!
Revisado: 02-17-17
This was my first book by Ann Fraser. At first I found the constant evaluating narrative a little overwhelming, but as the character evolved the easy way every action was explained became very easy to accept. The story line was understandable and still had surprises near the end. I totally enjoyed the narrator. she did an excellent job . I recommend this audio book Carol S.

I enjoyed the double time line story evolution. I felt the ending was a little to quick and not as believable as the rest of the story, which was very unbelievable!
