Historia
You may be surprised to learn that microchips are the new oil—the scarce resource on which the modern world depends. Today, military, economic, and geopolitical power are built on a foundation of computer chips. Virtually everything—from missiles to microwaves—runs on chips, including cars, smartphones, the stock market, even the electric grid. Until recently, America designed and built the fastest chips and maintained its lead as the #1 superpower, but America’s edge is in danger of slipping, undermined by players in Taiwan, Korea, and Europe taking over manufacturing.

As a highly respected pollster for corporate and Republican clients and a frequent television talk show guest, Kellyanne Conway had already established herself as one of the brightest lights on the national political scene when Donald Trump asked her to run his presidential campaign. She agreed, delivering him to the White House, becoming the first woman in American history to manage a winning presidential campaign. Who she is, how she did it, and who tried to stop her is a fascinating story of personal triumph and political intrigue that has never been told…until now.

Historia
William Barr’s first tenure as attorney general under President George H.W. Bush was largely the result of chance, while his second tenure under President Donald Trump a deliberate and difficult choice. In this candid memoir, Barr takes listeners behind the scenes during seminal moments of the 1990s, from the LA riots to Pan Am 103 and Iran Contra. Thirty years later, Barr faced an unrelenting barrage of issues, such as Russiagate, the COVID outbreak, civil unrest, the impeachments, and the 2020 election fallout.

Just what we need Objective look at DJT
Revisado: 05-02-22
Read much of Trump books and much of it is poppycock...William Barr, is a conservative, New Yorker and brilliant attorney. His insights into DJT confirmed my beliefs and that of most of my GOP friend. DJT was the greatest president in my lifetime with the WORST bedside manners in history (or close 2nd to Andrew Jackson).....DJT did so many great things and with AG Barr's direction at DOJ we saw excellent results ....AG Barr along with many many others tried in vain to encourage DJT to stop the pettiness and be more presidential but that ended up to be an impossible task.,,
Its so sad and as AG Barr noted DJT went "completely off the rails" at the end....Sadly but not surprisingly we end with the expected Greek Tragedy.

some interesting topics but to PC distracts
Revisado: 01-19-22
When author talks about how pollsters missed Trump's election I think the author missed some Signals and Noise...as Main Stream Media/CNN et al were attacking anyone who said they were for DJT...open to ridicule, lose of friends even your job......for example the Dilbert author Scott Adams predicted a DJT victory and he got constantly hammered by those infected with the Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS)....so much so that Adams had to retract...So people were afraid to say what they feel....
Also definitely get the PC left wing woke vibe form this author...for example when talking about male dominated fields like poker and sports he constantly refers to "she".....I'm sick of this PC virtue noise signaling...it gets in the way of the message.
Also he often quotes lefty economist Paul Krugman who been wrong in his predictions MOST OF THE TIME.
Also, author failed to do his homework on 9/11 terrorist attack...as the FBI Phoenix Letter tried to investigate the middle eastern pilots who came to the US to learn how to fly but not concerned about landing. The PC DOJ refused the investigation because they were "profiling" Arabs.
Its sad when a stat nerd misses the signals and notice bc of "his" PC political views.

Great FBI stories...rambling political views
Revisado: 01-18-22
First of all, I appreciate the hard work and dedication of the FBI street agents as they are the heart and soul of the FBI. The author set forth some interesting stories which is 5* quality. The author got this part of the story correct.
Unfortunately the author goes into a rambling political diatribe on Trump. Tragically during the Comey regime Bureau Administrators took over investigations at HQ which politized the Bureau. As we see the Russiagate case was run by administrators at FBIHQ who took an unverified dossier+ other lies and put them into a FISA affidavit and in effect intitiated an illegal investigation of a presidential candidate, which was a crime.. We later saw an FBI lawyer, Clinesmith (another administrator not street agent) purposefully lie about Carter Page to continue the bogus investigation. . Recently, the IG investigation revealed there was 8 errors on the FBI Russiagate affidavit. Scary stuff! The real deplorables.....Strzok, McCabe, Comey et al should have been prosecuted for initiating the bogus investigation on a presidential candidate.
Obviously the author drank the Kool-aide at MSNBC.
