Having entertained the idea for years, and even offered a few questionable opportunities ("It's a piece of cake! Just do four hours of interviews, find someone else to write it, put your face on the cover, and voila!") I have decided to tell these stories just as I have always done, in my own voice.

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Life Changing
Revisado: 03-09-22
Once in a while you’ll read a book that has the potential to change your life. This book did exactly that for me. Without going into a lot of detail I’ve decided to change career paths at 48 years old I am going to start paying attention to something that has ravaged my life and my fathers life for decades. I’m gonna try to get back to the community and help substance-abuse addicts. This book is an absolutely amazing audiobook. Everyone should listen to it.

Historia
In Mr. Trump’s campaign against what he calls “Fake News”, CNN Chief White House Correspondent, Jim Acosta, is public enemy number one. From the moment Mr. Trump announced his candidacy in 2015, he has attacked the media, calling journalists “the enemy of the people”. Acosta presents a damning examination of bureaucratic dysfunction, deception, and the unprecedented threat the rhetoric Mr. Trump is directing has on our democracy. When the leader of the free world incites hate and violence, Acosta doesn’t back down, and he urges his fellow citizens to do the same.

With Chris gone from the network I was really hoping they would put you into his time slot. As I flipped through channels last night on 1/25/22 I was pleasantly surprised to see you on the air right before Don Lemon came on. You’re one of my favorites and the book is great. Keep up the good work!!

Historia
We have never seen a president like this...norm-breaking, rule-busting, dangerously reckless to some and an overdue force for change to others. One thing is clear: We are witnessing the reshaping of the presidency. Jonathan Karl brings us into the White House in a powerful book unlike any other on the Trump administration. He's known and covered Donald Trump longer than any other White House reporter. With extraordinary access to Trump during the campaign and at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Karl delivers essential new reporting and surprising insights.

Historia
A savage satire of the United States in the throes of insanity, this blisteringly funny novel tells the story of a noble ship, the Glory, and the loud, clownish, and foul captain who steers it to the brink of disaster. Absurd, hilarious, and all too recognizable, The Captain and the Glory is a wicked farce of contemporary America only Dave Eggers could dream up.

well narrated and fun listen
Revisado: 01-10-21
Quick listen and easy to follow. Not much depth on characters but it's the message that matter overall. I enjoyed the listen. I laughed a few times but mostly felt empty as our country is in so much pain right now. it makes me very say and long for the us to be the united states I grew up in during the 90's and 2000's.

It’s only in the last decade that palaeontologists have finally agreed on the events that led to the demise of (most of) the dinosaurs - a huge asteroid strike in what we now know as the Yucatan Peninsular in Mexico. Ben presents the evidence built up over the last 40 years. He also learns why birds might have been spared and what the fall of the dinosaurs meant for today’s most dominant group - the mammals.
