The best Megan Quinn book I’ve read so far! I’m obsessed with these characters and the epilogue was such a sweet surprise! Love love love, a million time love!!!

Third Person Narration

For some reason, this book was really slow for me. I don't particularly hate third person Narration, but listening to it, threw me off quite a bit not being able to see when the perspective changed.

Heartbreaking and swoon worthy

I’m obsessed with the sexy nerd trope! This was so well done. The only thing that bothered me slightly was the way the narrator would say “Fuuuuuu*k”. It was fine the first couple of times, but it was everytime and it started to make me cringe a bit. I loved this story and the audio though! Glad I decided to try it. Be sure to check trigger warnings though. Heavy topics, for sure.

Amazing story, and even better performance! I’ve read this one physically but thoroughly enjoyed the audio version!

My heart breaks for all of their trauma, and once again Jennifer Hartman does a beautiful job of breaking my heart and putting it back together again!

“Goodbye Pooh” nearly broke me.

Also, YA where!? There was definitely some spice! I’m here for it.

The plot was very intriguing but it lacked.., something

The narrator was too dramatic for certain scenes, for my taste, and I had a difficult time in figuring out if it was the narrator or the story that kept bothering me. I think the story escalated too quickly. She just met his little girl and was sobbing telling him that she loves her and she LIVES for that little girl.
Slight spoiler:
When he mentioned that he wants to marry her and for her to be his daughter’s mother, it threw me way off because of how quick everything happened at the end of the book. Y’all just kissed for the first time, and y’all are ex step siblings and there was no conversation what do ever before that declaration.

It just wasn’t for me, I guess. However, the single dad trope and even the forbidden aspect is what kept me listening.

The performance!!! Amazing

I loved the story so much, but what really made me love this experience was the performance from the narrators! Man! Some of the best I’ve ever heard, for sure!

Great Story!

I was captured by the story. Something about it was so relatable. The brotherly protector spoke to me because I remember wishing all the time that I had a brother to protect me. (This made me rethink it at first lol) Loved Micah’s vibe, not the player side but the real him.

A story untold! I love a good misunderstood villain story!! Great characters, and just enough little connections to the fairy tail story we all grew up listening to. Wish there was a bit more spice, but the scenes were there and they were great!

Good golly, I loved this series! I couldn’t stop listening, knowing good and well I needed to be in bed sleeping. Such lovable characters, and captivating stories! They connect well with the others in the series, which makes me very happy.
