Historia
As a young Christian man, Matthew Vines harbored the same basic hopes of most young people: to someday share his life with someone, to build a family of his own, to give and receive love. But when he realized he was gay, those hopes were called into question. The Bible, he’d been taught, condemned gay relationships. Feeling the tension between his understanding of the Bible and the reality of his same-sex orientation, Vines devoted years of intensive research into what the Bible says about homosexuality.

The best book I’ve read in this subject
Revisado: 12-28-21
I very much enjoyed this book. As a Christian bi-sexual man I’ve been having a hard time accepting the way I am. This book helped to answer some of the questions I had on my faith concerning being a bi man.

A great ending to the series.
Revisado: 09-25-19
One thing I look for in a great fictional story is if it gave me the emotions of the characters or of what happened to the characters or events.
This book hit everyone. I laughed out loud, got angry and shed some tears.
Thanks for another grest book and I look forward to what is coming up next.

Fantastic!

I really loved this second book in the series. I love the strong female character though the way she was forced to be strong really sucks. I also like that the male character was allowed to me a masculine man with a soft, loving and respectful side to him.
I really am looking forward to book three and the merging of this series with the 299 Days books.
Keep up the great work Shelby.

Historia
Julie Atwood is struggling with the day-to-day challenges of being a single mom. She is recently divorced, financially stressed, and still reeling from a violent attack in her past. She is determined to make it on her own, however. She learns self-defense skills and enrolls in a women’s-only firearms class. The urgency of her efforts takes on new importance as society begins unraveling around her. Conservatives and liberals are at war. Then the president cuts funding to so-called Sanctuary States, including her home state of Oregon. Julie loses her job. Everyone who lives off the government gets desperate. Riots. Crime. Fire.

Fantastic book!
Revisado: 07-13-18
I downloaded this book less than thirty-six hours ago and finished it a few minutes ago. I liked the female perspective of prepping and the challenges it presents, especially that of being a single mother. But it also touched me as a guy because when I became a single dad I had similar emotions as the main character-love lost, being single and the new role of being a mother and a father to my kids.
This book had many prepping ideas that have eluded me thus far and I’ll remember to add them to my long list of prepping to do’s.
I highly recommend this book to everyone!

Very good.
Revisado: 03-07-16
I loved the narrator and the mystery in the story. What did bother me was the authors lack of knowledge of firearms. For example: Semi-automatic rifles no longer use"clips" and a revolver doesn't take a magazine.
