I loved it and I cried really tears. These two were really good for each other and I can't wait for the other books in the series to be released.

The writing stood out the most!

I enjoy the way Michael writes Nates character. He has a sharp mind and the way Nate gets you there has me on the edge of my seat every time.

The stories are phenomenal and it seems no matter the crime, you want Nate to be victorious, especially when dealing with problematic witnesses and opposing counsel acting smug.


Although I can't wait for Mason's series, I hope this isn't the last of Nate and I hope somewhere is Cade and Olivia's story.

I love this series and how Nate is written. He's smart and very clever and I like his dynamic with his friends and family. It is the other characters that drive me crazy, the client in this one...I love his drive for his life's work, but it made him stupid. There's nothing wrong with compassion, but there's nothing that says you have to sacrifice yourself.

I do not like Mitch. I think I'll say that in review if he's involved with this story, he's incompetent and I don't like how the inner thoughts of Nate say although he doesn't like him he's a good cop...he is not a good cop at all.

I LOVE this series and I'm almost finished, well caught up before the next one comes out.

I thought the story was really good, but the other relationships with Ramos and Uncle Joey. She was jeopardizing her family's safety and lying to her husband who has proved to love her and has eyes for no one else.

I don't like cheating or being unfaithful in any way, it makes me concerned about the future of this couple in this series. I like to read reviews and I see alot of people saying Ramos and Shelby need to get together, so as much as I am enjoying this story I won't be able to continue until I conform the there's no cheating.

I do wish it was duet or at least dual narration, but I enjoyed it so much!

Okay, so I listened to the first one it was good and it made me want to listen to book 2. Book 2 had a lot of flaws unfortunately. Ian caught the attention of a predator in book 1..actually let me say spoilers below.







My issues with books 2, Tyler and Ian are together. fantastic! They go to a club and the predator from book 1 is there, says inappropriate things, follows Ian and his friend to the bathroom wjere he chokes Ian so hard he leaves bruises. When Tyler makes it to the bathroom he beats the predator. Then the bouncers as well as other patrons of the Club come and see Tyler beating the guy up and pull him off, he goes to tend to Ian. Predator starts recording making it seem like Tyler was out of control. on lookers are recording too when Tyler goes off again. They are in pins and needles waiting to see if predator is going to press charges. Predator later contacts Ian and tries blackmailing him into sleeping with him, predator has some kinks but he is unsafe with them and likes to hurt. as evidenced by the pictures that were found in book 1 during the investigation. Ian doesn't tell anyone, predator comes to his house, calls, texts, comes to his boat, doesn't tell anyone.

Eventually Tyler tells his boss what happened and also that he is gay and everyone just keeps telling him that he could be facing jail time and felony charges. At some point they tell Ian's parents what happened because when they go to their house for dinner, Tyler is pulled to the side where Ian's dad, a well known and respected judge says the same thing about jail and that Ian is too fragile to testify. Also, in the video that the predator took in the club it shows Ian on the ground. holding his throat, having trouble breathing, and they took pics of the bruises. So when Ian finally tells Tyler about the predators calla hw ia understandably upset. We'll predator does in fact press charges. Tyler gets suspended while am investigation is ongoing and a stipulation os that he can't do any police work. He ia also adamant that under no circumstances will he let Ian testify and that he's going to take a plea deal. Ian's sister gets kidnapped, the judge calls Tyler, who is not supposed to be swing field work and the same information that McIntyre security could have gotten or the police Tyler gets and he and Ian follow a guy and so on and so forth. He gets fired, so now his 20+ career is gone, no pension, he has a misdemeanor, has to spend a few days in jail, his entire life's work just gone with no recognition.

I think the writing wasn't down very well, or not enough research. You Mean to tell me a 20+ veteran with ZERO discipline, boyfriends dad is a well known judge, mom is a DA, brother in law is well respected Billionaire and owns a security firm and you couldn't keep your job ir at least your pension???

I disliked Riley. I don't recall his age, but I know he is still in school. He cusses at the h and H, A LOT, and she NEVER corrects him. She just keeps saying stop, stop. The h lets her son tell him to get out and they don't need him around. Riley was just really disrespectful and was corrected and that bothered me.

The story was so unique and incredibly written. I loved the duet narration and the characters were written very well.

For all the heroine went through she was so strong and her personality was inspired. She took what was done to her and was ruthless. The hero was patient and just as ruthless and I love how people don't change, they are true to the end.

I loved it! I have been asking LH about when the audio would be released, she responded, and I pre-ordered when it was time. Then I got so scared to listen I waited a couple of days.

Hudson and Hadleigh loved each other so much and it was heartbreaking and then LH mended our hearts back together.

It had spicy dirty talk, an excellent storyline, and a full circle ending!!

Secret Baby is my absolute favorite trope in any situation, but the way these two characters came together was tragicly heartbreaking.

They each had so much to work through and you could feel their sadness in the writing and I love it when you can feel the heartbreak while you're reading.
