Historia
In an extraordinary series of private interviews, conducted over 16 years with the stipulation that they not be released until after Gerald Ford's death, the 38th president of the United States reveals a profoundly different side of himself: funny, reflective, gossipy, strikingly candid, and the stuff of headlines.

Thoughtful and poignant
Revisado: 02-16-23
A touching memoir of Gerald R. Ford. Tom DeFrank truly got to the heart and soul of our 38th President. Scott Brick is one of my favorite narrators. He was great reading “The Harbinger” and he didn’t disappoint me here. Scott has a voice that I could listen to for hours (which I did!).

In This Life I Live, Rory Feek helps us not only to connect more fully to his and Joey’s story but also to our own journeys. He shows what can happen when we are fully open in life’s key moments, whether when meeting our life companion or tackling an unexpected tragedy. He also gives never-before-revealed details on their life together and what he calls “the long goodbye,” the blessing of being able to know that life is going to end and taking advantage of it.

Extremely candid and moving
Revisado: 09-09-21
I had never heard of Rory Feek prior to listening to this book. What I discovered was an incredibly humble and vulnerable man. He expresses his love for his wife so clearly you can feel it. He wasn’t angry at God for taking her from him so soon; instead, He gave thanks for the 14 years that God had given her to spend with him. This book make we want to know more about Rory’s life and the grace of God that has sustained him.

The Book of Acts come to life!
Revisado: 07-25-20
What incredible stories of faith in the face of persecution: Chinese believers who consider imprisonment as a proving ground of their faith; people from Muslim backgrounds that come to faith in Jesus as a result of dreams and visions; and how the author and his family came to a much deeper understanding of what it means to have an ongoing relationship with Christ. I highly recommend this book!

Historia
John Feinstein has already taken listeners into the inner circles of top college basketball programs in The Legends Club. This time, Feinstein pulls back the curtain on college basketball's lesser-known Cinderella stories - the smaller programs who no one expects to win, who have no chance of attracting the most coveted high school recruits, who rarely send their players on to the NBA. Feinstein follows a handful of players, coaches, and schools who dream, not of winning the NCAA tournament but of making it past their first or second round games.

John Feinstein SO TOTALLY ROCKS!
Revisado: 04-07-20
Although we were denied the enjoyment of March Madness this year, "The Back Roads to March" more than made up for it. John Feinstein is a skilled writer and storyteller. This book is as good as "Where Nobody Knows Your Name," by the same author. I hope we get the opportunity to hear John broadcast college basketball games next year!
