David Sedaris is a hilarious, gifted storyteller, and he's never been better than he is here. I could listen to him tell stories for hours.

This book inspired me, lifted me, challenged me, helped me catharize, and expressed so many things I've thought but felt like I wasn't able to articulate. And the stories painted such a great picture of their family. I was so moved, and I think you will be too.

Analyzes what habits are; provides helpful suggestions for how to form good ones and trying to avoid bad ones. As the author tells us in the conclusion, one tiny change probably won't make a substantial difference in our life, but if we make enough small changes, at some point, they probably will have. I was hoping that this book would broaden my perspective, enable me to see things a little differently, find out what matters to me, and ultimately, make better decisions. And it delivers all of that.

I'm not sure I can recall a book I felt more like it was written just for me. His explanation of various philosophical topics here, as on The Good Place, is both educational and entertaining, and his plea for consideration is so thoughtful and well-reasoned I don't see how anyone could disagree. I can't recommend a book more highly, and I hope you find it as brilliant and uplifting as I did.

A thorough examination of life in minor-league baseball. Very enjoyable if you're a baseball fan, insightful if you're unaware of the challenges the players have to endure, and an exhaustive case for why some changes that billion-dollar organizations can easily afford will both improve the players' quality of life and play on the field. Recommended if you enjoy baseball in general; highly recommended if you can't get enough of it or if you own an MLB team.
