Historia
Life is good at Frogmorton Farm. Yes, Jenny and Russell are still broke. Yes, the roof still leaks. And yes, the Checklands are about to become the long-suffering owners of a battalion of trouble-seeking Patagonian Attack Chickens. But life is still quite wonderful for someone who used to be called the Nothing Girl.

Best Book Ever

I wish that the Frogmorten Farm Series could keep going! I loved these books so so much! Jodi Taylor has a way of writing that makes you fall in love with the characters and is laugh out loud funny. I want to read her other books for this reason but I absolutely fell in love with this series and want more!

Historia
Ghosts don't exist in our world of today. Life is too pragmatic, too consuming, too busy for past lives to linger on longer than their allotted time, or so Halcyon had believed, until she received a letter from a lawyer claiming that her mother, whom she had thought long dead, had actually been living in another part of the country since Halcyon's early childhood. She had only recently passed away, leaving Halcyon heir to an unexpected fortune and an estate on an isolated island in the middle of the Great Lakes.

Loved it!

This has probably been my favorite audio book so far. I drive a long distance for work and I dread the drive most day. But listening to this story, I would only allow myself to listen in my car, and I would be in great anticipation of my next drive to work so I could continue. It is spooky and scary without being vulgar, which I really appreciate. The writing is excellent and the narrator was perfect for the somber tone of the story. It is very well done and I would recommend it especially to people who enjoy creepy haunted house stories.

I wish I could return it. or could give the narrator 0 stars. I do not know who heard her voice and thought it was good for recording. it's awful!
