Morgan C Jones is amazing in his portrayal of so many characters!!

I have bought the second book already. So glad I found this audible book.

Charming Irish “ fairy tale”

Must admit I did not expect the big surprise early in the book.

The humanity is similar to Tony Hillerman ' work but the wonderful humor is all his own.

I have listened to the story with the out - house at least 5 times and still laugh out loud all the way through.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, it is to be enjoyed in small bites and savored.

Chet the "jet" rules!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Lots of twists and very likeable characters.

Have you listened to any of Jim Frangione’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

His narrative makes this audio book really fun. I laughed out loud many times.

Their worst book!

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

The story line is ludicrous. Event the characters became very annoying especially the female lead. I have enjoyed many of their books and was very disappointed with this one.

What could Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

The use of the Odyssee was just way too big a leap. Give me a break, a giant cyclops still alive on a lonely island inhabited by murderous natives. The "heros" are repeatedly in mortal danger and still the female lead keeps sabotaging any help. Also the last minute helicopter rescue is right out of a Star Trek movie.

What didn’t you like about David W. Collins’s performance?

He did what he could with a bummer script.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Big disappointment as I was looking forward to another good read from them.
