My Favorite Eric Ugland Book

I thoroughly enjoyed the Bad Guys and Good Guys series, which left me eager to explore more. After finishing those, I decided to give this book a try, and I absolutely loved it! My only concern is that there are currently only three books in this series. I sincerely hope there will be more to come, as I would love to continue this series.

It might be a better book if I had just read it, which I might do this summer, but between the narrator’s monotone voice and word repetition it does not make for a great audible book.

Stick with it

I was so close to returning this book so many times do to the “announcer” voice that kept interrupting the flow, but I’m glad I didn’t.
This is a fun book with an interesting MC twist. I like the overall story and I can’t wait for the next book to come out in August.

Not worth it

I have historically liked LG Estrella’s writing, but this book doesn’t compare to the other books
There’s no story, it is a “how to book”. Essentially, unless you are a virgin or carrying a cute wild creature you’re going to die painfully.
I couldn’t get past chapter 3.

Dying for Book Two

I loved this book; it is a great PWF without the romance and sex often found in other PWF. Though I have no issues with romance and sex, it's just not my cup of tea.

What I liked best about the book were the friendships developed through the storyline.

Runaway Fate is the first book I've listened to from E. Hunter, but I hope it won't be the last. Since the next two books in this series aren't out in Audible yet, I will try some of her other books until the other Moonstone Cove books come out.

Dying for Book Two

Getting Pretty Tired of Max

I have enjoyed this series and have binged listened to the books, but books 4 and 5 have begun to go downhill. Though I still like most of the characters in the group I am getting tired of Max's adolescent behavior.

Though Max has never been my favorite character, I find myself getting more annoyed by the minute with her pouting and her "I can go it alone" attitude.

I am only halfway through this book; I hope it will get better since the story is pretty focused on her.

Pretty Good but Not Great

Like most others, I liked some stories more than others, but unfortunately, not as many as I would have liked. But what I found most disappointing is that some of the authors I did like, don't have any other books published.

That being said, I loved the short story by Patricia Briggs.

Hilarious! Couldn't Stop Listening!

I've never heard of Nick Pirog before finding this series, but I am so glad I did! These books are truly laugh-out-loud good, with a great storyline.

If I had to compare Pirog's writing to other authors, I would say he is a combination of Dean Koontz (the classic novels) and Mark Tufo (for the humor).

Fun Listen

I liked the uniqueness of the storyline and loved the supporting characters, especially Lassie. Unlike many other series, each book is different as opposed to being cookie-cutter stories.

I hope there are more books to come!
