The stories started light and got harder as they went on. I love that this author doesn't just regurgitate the same old stories with a little spin. They definitely put their own imagination to work and don't just copy others work. Some were scarey, some not so much, but they were all worth the listen. The narration could be better but it doesn't take away from anything. It's like laying in bed at night listening to creepypasta. Buy it. it's worth the credit.

Fresh new ideas to enjoy with a theme

Most of the stories had an industry tie in that I loved with fresh new ideas in the stories. mostly all theme had a great creepy factor that I really enjoyed.
Ok, so the narrator needs work, I admit it. Not once did the narrator take a way of the freshness of the stories. I think you will really enjoy it. lastly if LTC a medical term strikes your fancy, you will get some of the inside humor.

What a fun Alien Noir story. There is a very noir feeling through most of the book which was fit into a difficult modern mystery. Child Abduction, a sister in distress, friendly and not so friendly aliens, and a double cross. What more fun could you ask for?
Give it a try, you a will find it fun and different.

It's different and I loved it.

First, I promise a review with no clowning around.
I love clowns. I grew up in the middle area where clowns were still fun but media and thriller authors were making them evil.
This novel takes the best of both worlds, weaves them together, and doesn't take itself seriously while doing so.
The characters are fun and feel real. You get enough to care about them and still suspend relief just enough.
If this were a movie I would go buy the over priced tickets and 20$ Coke now.
Honestly, this book is so fun I really hope you'll listen or read it.
I look forward to more from this author.

Unique and fun story. Honestly I've been getting tired of the same old stories told over and over. This story doesn't seem formulaic and I'm so happy. Just lost my cat recently and this wonderful story was a perfectly timed story for someone who needed a happy laugh.

The story is unique with it's own imaginative lore. I really enjoyed the whole story all the way through. The characters were dynamic, with great moments of tension. I won't give spoilers but this is a great no cookie cutter story. I will be looking for more from this author

A unique take making a modern classic

Let's be honest, Frankenstein has been done a lot. Several have tried to bring Frankenstein into the modern era some did a pretty good job, some didn't. The problem with a lot of the adaptations is that they either modernized it too much or added too much classic melodrama.
This author was a success. I'm not sure how else to say it but it feels like a modern classic. I look forward to reading more of his work.

Meet the new master

The second story in the series stands on its own merits. If I were to compare to the first book I would say there's not as much action and it's a little slower moving, but it does a solid job building the lore you have a good idea of where it's going. You know it's meant to be a long running series of adventures and this one you can find yourself looking forward to. I hope book three really breaks out is the best in the series up to date showing what a master mage vampire really has the power to accomplish.

A great story with a great MC. Needs a movie.

If you love B rated movies this is the story for you. No it's not a movie but if it were I'd love it too. Great characters, and the narration is awesome. I laughed and verbally yelled at a character that he was a jerk. It gets you invested in the fun and you find yourself wanting the next book. Think the Tremors Series and Butt Gummer. Not the story but the feeling of it and the character. MC could carry the series along the way Burt did.

Great new story

I am always looking for something different in a story. It seems so many are just a template of wash, rinse, repeat. Luckily perseverance pays off here. There are plenty of new ideas, great, good, and bad characters, and moments tense enough to keep you listening.
No story is perfect but this one certainly tries to be. One only issue I found was confusion on how a characters story related to the over all narrative. After a few chapters it ties in nicely so keep listening. It all comes together with a wonderful new hero emerging.
