A treat for anyone that loves the Life is Strange series / Life is Strange True Colors game.

* Little to no spoilers *
As a standalone story, the plot may take some getting used to. The story wastes no time jumping into the plot...but I found myself going back to chapters I already listened to better immerse myself into the audiobook. If you're a hardcore fan, I'd get the physical copy of the book in addition to the audible.
The performance was en pointe. Erika Mori was a treat to hear again and we honestly needed more plot in True Colors to fully appreciate the entire cast. I look forward to seeing more work from Mori. Occasionally I was convinced Katy Bentz also co narrated this book.
Overall, even if I was biased, the story felt very written to a YA audience with a dash of " sequelitus ". Naturally the plot will assume some player decisions unique to a playthrough of True Colors. The easter eggs aren't overbearing either and there are a fair amount of callbacks to the previous original games. If you loved Life is Strange: True Colours, Life is Strange: Wavelengths, and/or Life is Strange: Steph's Story and wanted more fleshed out story on Alex and Steph, you'll be in for a treat. Speaking unbiasedly however, the plot takes several hours to establish a true conflict to the story and many new characters new to this story felt hollow for lack of a better word.

Historia
Jennette McCurdy was six years old when she had her first acting audition. Her mother’s dream was for her only daughter to become a star, and Jennette would do anything to make her mother happy. So she went along with what Mom called “calorie restriction." She endured extensive at-home makeovers while Mom chided, “Your eyelashes are invisible, okay? You think Dakota Fanning doesn’t tint hers?” She was even showered by Mom until age sixteen while sharing her diaries, email, and all her income. In I’m Glad My Mom Died, Jennette recounts all this in unflinching detail.

A great listen if you're a fan

Needless to say, the title of the book is meant to catch your attention. While I did thoroughly enjoyed Jennette reading us her story(and not have it read by anyone else), I feel as though she may have preemptively released this book too soon. If you follow and find varying talk shows, podcasts, etc that talks about Jennette and has her on to speak, she will elaborate on certain points of her book. Given that she is still young, there is certainly more of her life we've yet to know should she let us fans know later that wasn't delved upon in the book. I feel if anyone cared enough to want to read my life story, it might be a little similarly written like hers. I used to compartmentalize often especially throughout my childhood. That said, many(if not all of the chapters) aren't very long and the majority are barely several minutes to listen to. Jennette does say that her book is written with humour. Although she will express her qualms with acting, part of the joy, fun, and relatability/compassion is felt through her reading her book in her words. I haven't been able to find a hard copy yet of the book anywhere and I may just order it, but she has said that there is *intentional* grammatical errors to help convey her humour and feelings if you may be reading and not listening to the audiobook. Through no fault necessarily of her own, the book may leave you intrigued to know more. I hope my rating is objective fairly enough. Overall I do recommend this book if you were ever a fan small or big. Her performance may keep you hooked. The storytelling isn't bad per se, but it may also seem like she could be neglecting some details perhaps as to not defame or what have you.

Historia
James Dommek, Jr., an Alaska Native writer and musician, sheds new light on a real-life mystery that pits Native American folklore against the US justice system. In the vast Alaskan Arctic, legend has it there once lived a mythic tribe—Iñukuns—that only existed in rumors and whispers. This changed forever when an actor-turned-fugitive, Teddy Kyle Smith, had an encounter that brought Iñukuns from myth to reality. Smith was an aspiring actor with a promising career until it all came quickly crashing down with a gunshot, a manhunt, bloodshed, and other frightful events.

My only reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that I was so engrossed that I was left wanting to know more of the story of what happened.

Historia
Discover magazine recently called Richard Dawkins "Darwin's Rottweiler" for his fierce and effective defense of evolution. Prospect magazine voted him among the top three public intellectuals in the world (along with Umberto Eco and Noam Chomsky). Now Dawkins turns his considerable intellect on religion, denouncing its faulty logic and the suffering it causes.

While it was easy to follow, it felt like two or three chapters. Given the expected topic, I suspect it can be difficult to expand on too many different subtopics.
