narrator change is rough.

As always narrator change is rough, along with the labyrinth being the major focus and honestly kind of boring, led to a lack luster follow up. Mc is increasingly unbelievably lucky and still forgetful of his own powers is starting to make me less invested. I hope we get the old narrator back but I doubt it'll happen.

Honestly it's nice watching?/listening to the slow burn of a village being made. it's quite nice.

Not nearly as good as volume 1

unfortunately the story is rather unfocused and the main character is hardly even in it this go around. I'd honestly day you get less then an hour of Pilot and even caretakers POV combined. A big let down from volume 1. narrator is still great though.

just felt really bad. and a little rushed and very unsatisfying. I'll listen to book 3 but book 2 was really disappointing after the strong beginning and end of book 1

Great time, but it's actually 2 books

As I said in the title, the description dosent tell you for some reason but this is actually books 1 and 2. book 1 is interesting but definitely a bit more of a prologue. a good one for sure but things really ramp up in book 2. hope you guys enjoy it as me.

A great start and set up for things to come along with not being too slow and kept a pretty good pace of down time and action along with getting a good peek at general grunt life

Wish we got a death korp book from their view

while the first book of about Krieg was actually more about the krieg then this one. this was more about the people around the krieg company and their interactions with the krieg men. You could do a book about the death riders as they are their only some what free thinkers and you could go through their training and to a first deployment instead of this some what bland mess

The mc is treat to listen to and see how he deals with issues attempts to use his past knowledge to help him in this game. can't wait for the next one
