Ok thriller, with incorrect technical details

Maybe. I liked the general story. However, I like the author to have accurate descriptions of firearms and technical items. These authors don't adhere to these standards. For instance, in the very beginning, a Beretta 92 fired by itself when dropped (false). Shoulder holsters aren't that popular. Sig Sauer pistols don't have a safety, etc...These lapses made me question other aspects of the book when they were dealing with Aircraft carriers and helicopters.

Would have been much better had the authors used real descriptions of small arms and situations.

Great military thriller marred by terrible perform

What made the experience of listening to Reflexive Fire the most enjoyable?
Mr. Murphy shows extreme attention to detail when it comes to military equipment use and description and military tactics.
What didn’t you like about Don Hoeksema’s performance?
The performer doesn't use punctuation, mispronounces common words and misreads ( I had the kindle version to compare it to). Overall, terrible.
Any additional comments?
It would be great if the audio book could be performed by George Guidall or Scott Brick and re-released.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
The author is a "been there, done that" pilot, and this shows in his attention to detail in technical issues and flight procedures.
What did you like best about this story?
Technical details about F-4 operations during the cold war.
What didn’t you like about David Gledhill’s performance?
He simply reads the text in monologue without any "livelihood". He should have gotten a professional performer instead. At times, it sounds like the pages are being flipped. Low quality performance.
