Historia
They began operations out of England in the spring of '43. They flew their Flying Fortresses almost daily against strategic targets in Europe in the name of freedom. Their astonishing courage and appalling losses earned them the name that resounds in the annals of aerial warfare and made the "Bloody Hundredth" a legend. Harry H. Crosby—soon to be portrayed by Anthony Boyle in the miniseries Masters of the Air developed by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg—arrived with the very first crews, and left with the very last.

If you like adventure stories from the early nineteen hundreds, Then this book is for you. It reminds me of the shackleton book and the advent hillary book climbing mount everest. This book is very well-researched and very well. Written about roosevelt and his son kermit going down the river of doubt, An unexplored river in the amazon basin. I found it very enjoyable and very exciting, I am glad that they survived.

Historia
On January 6, 2021, insurgents stormed the U.S. Capitol, an act of domestic terror without parallel in American history, designed to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. In a resolution six months later, the House of Representatives called it "one of the darkest days of our democracy," and established a special committee to investigate how and why the attack happened. Celadon Books, in collaboration with The New Yorker, presents the committee's final report, the definitive account of January 6th and what led up to it.

I found the writing a bit tedious, maybe that is because it was abridged. the subject was interesting but seemed to lack any drama. I understand Ambrose can be like that.

unbelievable greed of men toward other men. the narration was just fine don't let other reviews detour you from this boom. a fascinating read about green murder and mystery. it is amazing that we can treat other humans with so little regard for the sanctity of life. I have always thought that I am no better or worse than any other race or Human. I believe we are all equal.

“This isn't strictly speaking an instructional manual, but a work of comedic philosophy.” Elvis Costello - songwriter, singer, author, and Fender Jazzmaster known to his admirers as “The Little Hands of Concrete” - spins his tale with wit, grit, and spit to spare. How to Play the Guitar and Y, Costello’s new entry into Audible’s Words + Music series, combines recitation, impersonation, and musical illustration to show you how to turn a three-chord trick into a four-chord caper and let your curiosity take you where it will.

Historia
In this searing memoir, Congressman Jamie Raskin tells the story of the forty-five days at the start of 2021 that permanently changed his life—and his family’s—as he confronted the painful loss of his son to suicide, lived through the violent insurrection in our nation’s Capitol, and led the impeachment effort to hold President Trump accountable for inciting the political violence.

Miracle, that we survived the attack.
Revisado: 07-17-23
Jamie is a wonderful writer with an incredible story to tell. the loss of his son a week before the insurrection, I was surprised he was even in the chambers doing his duty. it is a miracle they got out before the terrorists could break down the door. his actions in the impeachment trial is commendable, especially when he was not given any chance to grieve the loss of his son. I wondered why he spoke of his son so much in the book. I understand to him he could not separate the effents happening do close together. those who are critical of this book, don't understand loss and will be on the wrong side of history.

Historia
Evgenii Onegin is best known in the West through Tchaikovsky’s opera Eugene Onegin. But the original narrative poem (consisting of 389 stanzas, the form of which has become known as the "Pushkin sonnet") is one of the landmarks of Russian literature. In the poem, the eponymous hero repudiates love, only to later experience the pain of rejection himself. Pushkin’s unique style proves timeless in its exploration of love, life, passion, jealousy, and the consequences of social convention.
