Fantastic Narration Improves Great Story

I already liked this story when I read in on KU. The narration made the details of the story, especially the interactions between Greg and Yukiko, come alive. I wasn't sure of how the voices for the different characters would work, but by the end of the story it all flows fantastically.

The underlying story was good, and after reading the ebook, I was curious how the narration was going to handle all the different voices, and especially the voice of the monster. The play between the monster and Rene when their voices combined at one point was great. Overall, my high expectations know the previous works by this pair of the author and narrator were exceeded. Great audiobook.
