Historia
Will Robie escaped his small Gulf Coast hometown of Cantrell, Mississippi, after high school, severing all personal ties, and never looked back. Not once. Not until the unimaginable occurs. Unlike the missions Robie undertook in the service of his country, where his target was clearly defined, digging into his father's case only reveals more questions. Robie is drawn into the hidden underside of Cantrell, where he must face the unexpected and possibly deadly consequences of the long-ago choices made by father and son.

Riviting , thought provoking and a nail biter!.
Revisado: 12-21-15
Reviting and nail biting. The plot kept you analyzing every character. Enough doubt and suspicion kept you from drawing a conclusion to early. The climax caused you to pray. The anticlimactic end was more than you could hope for, not fairytale, but a real conclusion.

Historia
In November 1964, Cuban revolutionary Che Guevara went to the Congo with two hundred men, intent on making it his first step in taking over Africa and South America. He failed, thanks in large part to the efforts of an intrepid band of Green Berets. Licking his wounds, he retreated to Cuba to recruit more men and try the same thing in Bolivia. He failed there, too. In fact, he died there, and thus, despite his incompetence, became a glorious martyr to the cause. But who was trying to kill him, really - and who was trying to keep him alive?

Good Special Opps Read
Revisado: 10-13-15
overall a good read. There were too many time/date stamps, but I guess they were necessary to the plot. The story ends very abruptly. I will listen to it again and recommend it to others who like special opp type books.

A great book for Premarital Counseling
Revisado: 09-16-15
What a strange heading but one of the greatest aspect of this book is the sanctity of Biblical Marriage. I loved how several plots were interwoven together. All of the characters were very well developed . The energy level of the characters is literally transferred to the reader. The mystery was well kept. The love story causes one to greatly desire the same in your own marriage. This is a great read!

Historia
The USS Vicksburg is returning home when the crew comes upon a lifeboat bearing a dead Somali pirate who shows signs of torture. Questions immediately arise: Who is this man, and which ship did he come from? Who tortured him? Soon Red Cell analysts Kyra Stryker and Jonathan Burke have traced the dead man back to an Iranian ship currently bound for Venezuela - and the ship appears to have dangerous, radioactive cargo on board.

Historia
For the first four months of 1942, U.S., Filipino, and Japanese soldiers fought what was America's first major land battle of World War II, the battle for the tiny Philippine peninsula of Bataan. It ended with the surrender of 76,000 Filipinos and Americans, the single largest defeat in American military history. The defeat, though, was only the beginning, as Michael and Elizabeth M. Norman make dramatically clear in this powerfully original book.

A Must-Read: Respect, Appreciation for Veterans

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Greatly recommend this book. This book brings history to life! I have often wondered why we needed to drop the bombs on Japan. After listening to this book I truly began to understand the cruelty inflicted by the Japanese war machine on our troops. Japan did not consider our captured servicemen as Prisoners of War. They did not follow the guidelines of the Geneva Convention for POWs. Although I wouldn't want us to ever have to use this type of weapon ever again, I now realize it was the most efficient and probably the only way to end that war. This book gives a greater understanding of what our troops endured as "captives." THANK YOU TO EVERY SERVICEMAN AND WOMAN FOR YOUR GREAT SACRIFICE TO KEEP US FREE!

Historia
More than a million listeners have thrilled to Bill O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln, the can't-stop-listening work of nonfiction about the shocking assassination that changed the course of American history. Now the anchor of The O'Reilly Factor recounts in gripping detail the brutal murder of John Fitzgerald Kennedy—and how a sequence of gunshots on a Dallas afternoon not only killed a beloved president but also sent the nation into the cataclysmic division of the Vietnam War and its culture-changing aftermath.

Excellent non-bias, non conspirator history

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
The approach that Bill O'Reily and Martin Dugard made this book jump out and held you wanting to hear another chapter. Those who might fear a book by Bill O'Reily to be opinionated and slanted need not worry. He has presented the facts in a time line of events and allows you to draw your own conclusions. He has not tried to persuade you one way or another. As a character on Dragnet use to say, "Just the facts..." O'Reily has presented just the facts. This is a must read for all Americans.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The description of President Kennedy's motorcade on the last day of his life moved me to tears.
