The reader was great, the message was straight from Goebbles. If you take all of the neofascist history lessons of the last 5 years and roll them into an easy to listen to, Reading Rainbow of white man's burden fairy-tales, you have this book. Hitlerjugend storytime.

Great book on crazy hard subject

I've had to listen to it multiple times to understand even a little, but it is so interesting and educational that it has been easy to do.

Compelling story nobody else would do

Jon Ronson is amazing. He delves into stories nobody else wants to touch, and this was one of his best. A tragic story about an unmentionable celebrity. He give her a humanity that she wasn't allowed in her profession, and he explores that profession in a way that isn't judgmental or condescending. Definitely worth listening to, and I really hope he continues to give us stories like this.
