Very long winded boringly accurate

Just wasn’t very engaging. Very average, not much action and assumes that the average person understands or even cares for espionage. This type of story line….from hero to misidentified traitor and back to hero overcoming elements of stupidity in our government,explained by individual power grab is a disservice to most of clandestine field. I listened to it all hoping it would improve…. However it did not!

Disappointing

I am a huge fan of Hurwitz, BUT this was a definite no go for me as the book was written as a sadistic mystery thriller and I care little to hear of the many ways a person can kill or make fellow human beings suffer. I like a good thriller, but the early chapters and the repetitive background/actions of killers with their inhumane ways to harm us and themselves..... is a bit much..Not a good read and will try to return ASAP. The world has enough misery why add to it. Sorry ...a bridge way too far and painful to try to like!

Great riveting book

One of the best books in the series,I dont know if the technical aspects work out in the ending, but A great plot with a female character the main focus. Story was reasonable, exciting and kept the reader guessing.

Full throttle action

Great story,characters well developed and shows weaknesses in command (politics of stupidity and even massaginistic type behavior against women. The woman in story is equal to but better than most men. Colt again saves the day but you still ant to see the jihadist pay harder. Again I’m sorry that Muslims choose to dishonor a beautiful religion as they do and tie it to his will.

Depressingly good

Very depressing characters …hard to relate to
Book becomes slow in a lot of places with rough transitions. Characters realistic but not easy to pull for. Speaks negatively for politicians, police and even the wile human race. Not a feel good novel even at the end. A MIXTURE OF WANTING THE BOOK TO Be over,possibly return it for credit, Finished it but my not one f my favorites
