On the journey through the book, Peter learns a great deal from sassy Jenny Wren and other neighbors. Listeners learn about common birds' physical appearance, eating, nesting habits, and songs and calls.

We really wanted to love these stories and probably would with a different narrator but this narrator is hard to listen to. His reading cadence is unusual and it makes it hard to follow the story. We gave up and did not finish the book. I hope Audible will add another version of this book and the Burgess Animal Book for Children book with a different narrator.
