Historia
In New Dis, Purgatory, there is no rest for the dead. Sprouting from the rim of Hell’s depths, not even this bohemian city of the afterlife is immune to the tragedies filtering down into it as war and endless suffering rage on Earth above. Hephaestion, general, confidant, and lover of Alexander the Great, has one goal: rescue Alexander from the torment of Hell. Yet far more souls bar his way than he’d ever anticipated, and Hephaestion, with the help of new friends and comrades, will have to use both brains and brawn against some of the underworld’s most unsavory opponents.

An Alluring Tale of Love, Humanity, and Connection
Revisado: 11-16-23
Driven by the protagonist, the reader peels back the layers of Hell as much as the layers of the people that surround, guide, and challenge the afterlife.
I absolutely adored every connection between the characters and the world that they live in. The land is lush with the echoes of life's hardships and darkness, and yet there is still a glimmer of hope that pushes you, hoping the protag will find peace. The world is alive, and the scenes feels like characters all their own. It's such a somber and lovely adventure! With such wholesome characters that really make you think about your own connection with the people that surround you.
