This book goes back to the series roots with an Earth focused story. It is not as grand in scope as some of the others, but still an enjoyable entry in this series. I look forward to the next

This collection is a good adventure. It is a nice mixture of sci-fi and fantasy with it's own unique flavor; well worth a listen.

This is one of the more unique stories I've read/heard in a while. It weaves an intricate tale across time (continued in the rest of this excellent series), alternating between traditional story telling and a National Geographic documentary feel. The series plays with interesting concepts and themes that will leave you pondering and philosophizing after, as only an excellent story can.

This entry can best be described as a psychedelic (and philosophical) adventure that will leave you thinking about the little questions of life (answer: 42) and consciousness for a while after. It is well worth a listen, though this entry does require more concentration and provokes more reflection than the other excellent entries in this series.

After this (and the previous book), the phrase "going on an adventure" is going to resonate for a while.

An excellent listen that I was singularly unable to stop listening to. It is a unique and compelling story with excellent world (or universe) building and narration.

While this story does come to a satisfying conclusion, I hope the author writes a sequel in the future to continue the wider story.

This production is a must listen for any sci-fi fan. The story, narration, and production are all exceptional making for a story that's hard to stop until it's done. It follows in the best traditions of Asimov and Clarke, while weaving a unique story with a satisfying dose of real science, The story ends in a satisfying way, yet leaves things open for a sequel that I hope Andy Weir chooses to write.

The narration of this story is perfect, and the audio production is among the best I've listened to. It includes some simple sound effects that add perfectly to the story without being distracting, and also leaves the perfect pause between scenes for transitions to feel natural and deliberate, instead of forced or unintentionally missing as in many other productions.

My only complaint is that this is considered the first book in a planned trilogy that will likely never be completed. That said, the story does conclude at a satisfying enough point.

Enders Game may be his most famous book, but it is far from his best. This is an excellent standalone story, with clear echoes of the styles and stories that show up in his later novels. If you liked Speaker for the Dead and it's sequels in Enders saga, you'll like this one.

This was a very well done audio play, providing a nice new take on the traditional audio book.

In particular, I like the musical interludes to mark transitions between scenes, though they could've been a tad shorter.

This was a well written and performed story, taking a unique spin on the concept of how humanity may explore the stars in the future.

The following may be a potential spoiler if you've already read it, but this book feels almost like a prequel to another series I just read, Isaac Hooke's AI fleet.
