Little Secrets by Jennifer Hillier completely blew me away. I devoured this book and couldn’t put it down—it pulled me out of a reading slump and reminded me why I love thrillers.
The story was emotional, intense, and so well-written. The way it explored the pain of losing a child felt so real—I can’t even imagine that kind of grief, and Hillier portrayed it in such a raw, honest way. I was hooked the entire time, and the twist? Mind-blowing. I never suspected who took her son.. so unexpected and twisted in the best way.
The only part I didn’t like was Mackenzie’s ending. She deserved nothing, at all. But aside from that, this book was flawless.
This is my second read by Jennifer Hillier, and both have been 5-star hits. Can’t wait to read more from her!

It started off great and then.. went downhill.. it was boring and repetitive. I’ve never DNF’d a book but I had to with this one on the last 2 hours. Couldn’t listen any longer.

This was a fast-paced, suspenseful thriller that keeps you guessing. From the start, the main character, Lara, is incredibly likable, and her journey through trauma and mystery pulls you in completely. Just when you think you know who the killer is, another twist surprises you. The story strikes the perfect balance with a bit of romance, just enough to add depth without overshadowing the suspense. It’s a compelling page-turner, keeping you hooked from beginning to end!

This book was fantastic, and the ending completely took me by surprise! I went in expecting something similar to the author’s other works, especially with the theme of women being betrayed (books which I still enjoyed), but this one caught me off guard. The twist was totally unexpected!

AMAZING BOOK!!!

This book is an absolute must-read! It delivers one of the biggest mind twists I’ve ever experienced, and the plot went in a direction I never saw coming. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this book and series because it’s hands down one of the best reads I’ve had this year! The pacing is fast, packed with action and thrilling moments from start to finish. Alyssa is such a lovable character, making it easy to get attached and root for her. If you’re into books that keep you on the edge of your seat, I highly recommend it! 10/10!

I recently finished this book, and unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The story felt dragged in places, making it hard to stay engaged. One of the main characters, the wife, was particularly annoying, and I found myself frustrated with her throughout. While there were a few interesting moments, overall, it was just a bit too bland and predictable. Not a terrible read, but definitely not one that left a lasting impression.
