Historia
Douglas Hastings' passion for anything NASA drove him to analyze a treasure trove of Moon photos taken during all Apollo missions. Doug had started to believe the conspiracy theories and rumors that had swirled for years; that NASA had discovered more than just rocks on the Moon and had conspired to keep the rest of the world in the dark.

So boring!
Revisado: 05-20-16
The description on the cover of the book captured my interest. Unfortunately, the description was the most interesting and well written part of the book. I thought the story line was very good and there was a lot of potential, but the book failed to deliver. The characters were two dimensional and uninteresting. The plot was nonexistent. I'm a 4th grade teacher and feel 4th graders could easily read this independently and comprehend it. Maybe even 3rd graders. In addition to grammatical errors, the story lacked those literary devices such as adjectives and words that have more than three syllables, that make writing interesting. I have no desire to read the sequel.

Enjoyable
Revisado: 09-14-15
I read the first four books on my nook. It took over a year because I'd put it down for a few weeks and then go back to it. There are just so many characters! (I've never watched the HBO show but I want to now.). I enjoyed the audiobook so much more. I'm very much looking forward to the next book.

Not enough
Revisado: 08-10-15
There was way too much detail to the fight scenes and the plot suffered. The plot sounded very good, but it seemed to occur outside the book. I would have loved for more information about solving the puzzle, but at least 90% was filled with fighting.

It was ok
Revisado: 07-26-15
I was a little disappointed. I thought it was going to be a little more science fiction-y, but it turned out to be rather run of the mill. If it had focused more on Nexus, it would have been better. In this book, you could substitute any illegal article for Nexus and it would've been the same.

This excellent book is now a favorite! The plot is tight and well thought out. The characters develop layer upon layer. I read a lot and this book is fresh. The narrator did an excellent job. I would recommend this book to anyone. It's not scary; I found it to be full of hope. Loved it!

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The mystery of the building drew me in and it was hard to stop listening. I liked the characters and I hope there will be more books like this one. Excellent narrator.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

So good
Revisado: 06-05-15
This book is so good! There were parts that got a little bogged down when he was speaking math. I think those parts would be better if you were reading the book instead of listening to it. Other than that, I loved it. I like books about the triumph of the human spirit. Plus, there was a lot of humor. The narrator was wonderful. I feel certain that I will listen to this book again or read it.

Tad Williams does not disappoint
Revisado: 06-02-15
I really enjoyed this series. It had everything required for good fantasy. Some of the reviewers didn't like the narrator, but I feel he was perfect for epic fantasy. It's sort of like having Dumbledore, Gandalf, or Captain Picard read to you.

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Great book!
Revisado: 04-04-15
I have never enjoyed books involving time travel although I read a lot of sci-fi. Therefore I was reluctant to read this one. I decided to read it because I love Stephen King's books and it did not disappoint! It was definitely not a typical time travel book. King's development of characters and plot never ceases to amaze me. I'm convinced he could write a recipe and make it riveting! I highly recommend that you read this book.

It was okay
Revisado: 03-24-15
This book was a little disappointing. The author's descriptive writing was very good, but to me the characters seemed hollow and I never connected with them. Usually I feel sad when I finish a book because I miss the characters as if they were real friends. This was not the case with this book. It was also too long which is fine with me if the plot is good. I thought it dragged. The narrator was a little depressing, too.
