Historia
Andy McGee and Vicky Tomlinson participated in a drug experiment run by a veiled government agency known as The Shop. One year later, they marry. Two years later, their little girl, Charlie, sets her teddy bear on fire by simply staring at it. Now that Charlie is eight, she doesn't start fires anymore. Her parents have taught her to control her pyrokinesis, the ability to set anything - toys, clothes, even people - aflame. But The Shop knows about and wants this pigtailed "ultimate weapon".

Definitely a Big Mac
Revisado: 02-02-24
King’s pacing is there and it more about the journey than the destination. Hard to recommend but not grueling.

90% of it follow the show with a few added parts and I’m a bit of a different order. I would highly recommend this with the book at hand for young readers for fun or on a road trip. The voice cast is different on a few members from the show and the 3D sounds/sound effects weren’t bombastic. All around, a good time as a fan of the series.

Vex and Vax have always been outsiders. A harsh childhood in the elite elven city of Syngorn quickly taught them not to rely on others. Now, freed from the expectations of their exacting father and the scornful eyes of Syngorn’s elves, the cunning hunter and the conning thief have made their own way in the world of Exandria. The twins have traveled far and experienced great hardship. But with the help of Vex’s quick wit and Vax’s quicker dagger, they’ve always kept ahead of trouble. Now, unknown perils await them in the bustling city of Westruun.

I was looking for if anything Vox Machina was on auditable and found it. A nice side story of Vax and Vex with their voice actors attached. I came from the animated series and found it easy to follow especially since they were one of my fav

The less you know about this if you have next to no knowledge about this classic, the better. Let your mind play the movie. Expect the cross between genres this novel took. Also a great performance delivery.

Light hearted like on a clear day.
Revisado: 06-07-22
Going into this and leaving behind my rose tinted glasses of the movie’s music and visuals was rough but refreshing and very pleasant. It’s sense of community, childish mischief, and pacing stands well for a children’s novel.
I would definitely recommend reading this then watching movie. Hopefully we get the sequels that later came out.

Revisado: 04-15-22
A good production is there and a nice little cast but I’m not won over yet. There a nice hook and it cool to see what another cast of character were going through but it’s very dull. Even if I gave it a shot back when the show was still new (the first 24 episodes) I’d be feel a little let down. I hope this is just a set up for things to come in part two.

bland with potential
Revisado: 08-05-20
Love Aaron's podcasts and decided to try this out. I felt overall it was a nice paranormal/historical thriller through and through.
I had to grind my way through not taking the story too seriously. The historical part of it was nice but going to the realm of of paranormal I was hoping something more grim if not whimsical. over all lackluster. Other supplementary characters done have much meat to them I stopped keeping track and still got through the book normally.
Great performance from Terence. Although there being not a lot of varying characters with it being mostly men, he gets the job done.
