I have read the 2008 book and when this came out I had to read it. A very enjoyable book taking you through the world micro trends in 2018. I was able to relate more to this book as we are living the events now. A very interesting selection of micro trends that touches parts of everyones life, this book made laugh in a lot of Chapters I was reading. Social micro trends broken down in a very simple everyday language for all those interested in in the subject.

In this book Pollster Mark Pen claims that the future is not shaped by society’s broad forces but by the quiet changes within narrow slices of the population. This book was so much fun to read for the geek inside me & for anyone interested in opinion polls. I am fascinated by the analysis of these counterintuitive poll opinions & their impact on economy and sociology.

Who is not amazed by the fast-paced continuous innovation of the tech giant Google? In this book Eric Schmidt ( Ex- CEO ) & Jonathan Rosenberg ( former SVP of products) are revealing some in-house secrets of HOW GOOGLE WORKS? From culture, strategy, communication to decision making and innovation, in every chapter there is a lot to learn and benefit in your personal life, the organization you work for or one you are building on your own. They also gave some useful insights on how to plan your career. I recommend this book and I’m definitely going back to it again.
