They say writing is rewriting. So why does the second part get such short shrift? Refuse to Be Done will guide you through every step of the novel writing process, from getting started on those first pages to the last tips for making your final draft even tighter and stronger.

Short but worth the credit!
Revisado: 08-18-22
I will definitely listen again and probably again. It's shortness is good as some writing guides get bogged down. Everything here was useful and to the point. It provides a realistic look at how each draft process might look. It comforted me to know how okay it was to have a crazy messy first draft. Highly recommend!

Historia
Kate Fagan and her father forged their relationship on the basketball court, bonded by sweaty high fives and a dedication to the New York Knicks. But as Kate got older, her love of the sport and her closeness with her father grew complicated. The formerly inseparable pair drifted apart. The lessons that her father instilled in her about the game, and all her memories of sharing the court with him over the years, were a distant memory. When Chris Fagan was diagnosed with ALS, Kate decided that something had to change.

A dedication to a truly great parent using story
Revisado: 07-09-21
This book was a gorgeously written story about the pain and love that goes along with walking a beloved family member to the end of life. The emotions are timeless and universal, yet to hear it so laid out as Kate Fagan did, was truly good for my soul. It's a hand held out to anyone that's lost a parent or might lose a parent in a devastating way. Also Fagan gave an impeccable audio performance. I'd listen to her read anything!
