I loved the book. Great sequencing, memorable scenes, a true well written story that was believable each step of the beautifully choreographed scene. Great characters. Would love a sequential book.

I like the audible narration. If I had to read the book, would be bored beyond description. Same formula, same dumb lines, cute girl, hot guys, oh what a shame the female is willing to settle for a nothing life. Degradation, inane remarks, nothing of substance, just a part of the marketing strategy of it is ok to be stupid, lead a meaningless life, " because I am female and cute." Okie Reading Specialist

Historia
After a slow summer of chasing low-level skips for her cousin Vinnie's bail bonds agency, Stephanie Plum finally lands an assignment that could put her checkbook back in the black. Geoffrey Cubbin, facing trial for embezzling millions from Trenton's premier assisted-living facility, has mysteriously vanished from the hospital after an emergency appendectomy. Now it's on Stephanie to track down the con man. Unfortunately, Cubbin has disappeared without a trace, a witness, or his money-hungry wife. Rumors are stirring that he must have had help with the daring escape...or that maybe he never made it out of his room alive.

All of the books are formula books, same story, similar jokes, definitely not rocket science but Lorelei King is terrific as a reader and the only saving grace in the series. I love to listen to her read. Okie Reading Specialist

The stories by Evanovich are all alike. You listen to one, you have listened to all. They are a quick easy read with a few humorous points. I have discovered they are perfect as audiobooks because Lorelei King has a wonderful storyteller voice and I play them when I have trouble sleeping. Without her as the reader, the books literally have not a saving grace. Okie Reading Specialist

Not a new concept, but the story is told well, loved it in audio. This is the young female who meets the wrong guy then the rest of the story has her solving the problems a rash marriage helped create. Same chapter, second verse, but a fun listen.
