This is the second book of Kathy’s (the other being “Official Book Club Selection”) and I can’t get enough! I’ve listened to them both several times!
When I listen to her books, I feel like her and I are hanging out at happy hour and she’s spilling all the tea on her celeb encounters.
Highly highly highly recommended!!!

I got this thinking it was the entire original book from Princess Diana. But In fact it was a fraction of her book, that was then re told by some dude.

Do NOT waste your money.

I’m so sad to say that this book was a complete and udder disappointment.
What you’ll learn from this book:
-Brandi’s ex husband left her for Leann Rhymes.
-Brandi absolutely detests said ex husband and Leann Rhymes.

That is it. Literally! This particular subject should’ve been covered and ended in the first chapter. But it is literally brought up several times in ever single chapter.

Plus whoever was doing the recording of this audio book needs to be fired because her lips smacking after literally almost every sentence was so obnoxious. She’s talking like she’s a pre-teen gossiping in middle school, when in reality she’s a 40 something year old woman. It’s so cringey!

Brandi is such a fun person to listen to and watch so I was really excited to listen to this book.
Needless to say, it was such a let down.

Such a NAG!

The only reason I downloaded this was because it was free. However, I did go into listening to it with a completely open mind.
I don’t much about Tori Spelling. But if this book is her true account of her life, I feel so sorry for her husband.
She is so spoiled and loves to consistently mention how “famous” she is and how important she thinks that she is.
Then when she talks about her husband, she sounds like a complete and total nag.
Everything has to be about Tori and everything needs to make Tori happy.
Yes, I listened to the entire book, and my final word is that I’ll NEVER get this time back in my life!

I love Heather, but...

I absolutely love Heather McDonald. I’m subscribed to her podcast Juicy Scoop, I love her stand up, and loved her on Chelsea Lately.
All that being said, her books just don’t...do it for me. I read My Inappropriate Life and this book and both of them are just so bland to me.
When she’s reading them on Audible, it seems like she’s reading a book instead of telling a story. I hope that makes sense.
It’s just so bland and, frankly, uninteresting.
There are a lot of stories in the book that I have heard her reference during her stand up routine.
Like I said, I absolutely LOVE Heather. Have since the Chelsea Lately days, but clearly, book writing isn’t her strong suit.

Needs a different narrator.

The story all in all was very good and interesting.
But the narrator was too punctuative with his words and when he tried to do a female’s voice, it was so cringey!
His voice, in my opinion, was too monotone for this story. He seems like he’s narrating a science book for middle schoolers.
If a different narrator was used, this audio book would’ve been perfect!

I re-read it. 3 different times!

This book is the book to read. Period.
It’s October 2020, and I can’t believe I haven’t read this book before.
I spent the entire 5 hours listening to this book just smiling and appreciating everything around me.
Ross is such a natural at writing books and so fun to listen to.
I would absolutely LOVE to hang with Ross and have a drink and chill!
Everyone needs to read this and share it with everyone you know!

One of the FEW books I can read over and over

As a looong time fan of Wendy, this book did not disappoint.
I’ve been listening to her since she was on the radio, and I’ve watched every episode of her tv show.
This book is Wendy through and through.
The way she formats the book keeps it interesting and makes me want to re start it as soon as it’s over.
