Great story!

Family listened on a long road trip. We thoroughly enjoyed and had good discussions. Very thought provoking and challenging.
The narrator fits the main character, but the way he speaks sounds like 3rd grader learning to read at times. A few hours into it, it wasn’t that big of a distraction.

I loved the included verses and the practical ideas for how to write your battle plan! Its very motivating and has great reminders of scripture/truth. I would recommend you get a paper copy as well, though!

Captivating, inspiring story

My son and I really enjoyed listening to this trilogy. It’s such a blessing to find such inspiring books teaching Bible truths is such an engaging way. This was our second Dekkers’ series. I’m continuing to hear Bible truths replay in my mind from these rich stories. One that I think God continues to show me is that love casts out fear and also that we are called to love people not judge them. Powerful. Thank you Dekkers! Keep it up!

We really enjoyed the story. My elementary age son and I enjoyed it on a road trip. Learning about how much God loves that is a huge quest we all need to go on.

We couldn’t stop listening!

My son and I absolutely loved this! We listened one morning and only stopped because we had somewhere we had to be! When he woke the next morning, he quickly asked to keep listening and truth be told, I really wanted to find out what happened to Bar and the others!
The story moves along at a great pace with some surprising turns. I love how the author included/was inspired by a short story of his sisters. ❤️
For an upper elementary boy and his Mama, I can say that this was a big win!!! It gave us some opportunities to discuss some character topics as well!
We can’t wait for the next one!
