Hard to finish
Revisado: 06-12-19
I had a hard time finishing this one. I generally like historical fiction, but this one was pretty heavy handed with the depressing detail of the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. Plus, it was hard to follow all the Hebrew names in an audio book - two characters had similar names, which was confusing. The editing was also poor - there were no pauses in narration between sections in a chapter. It sounded the narrator was just reading the next sentence rather than pausing to let the listener understand we were changing to the story of another character.

Good book, pretentious narration
Revisado: 05-28-19
I loved the story but the narrator sounded like she was working really hard on her diction and to prevent any sort of accent. She sounded so pretentiius as the main characte. The narration for the other characters was much better

Fluffy Drivel
Revisado: 01-04-19
If all you want is a happy ending and can get this for $1.99, this is the audio book fir you.
Poorly developed characters, implausible events, sickly sweet performance and overly simple dialog. If this was written by a high school sophomore I'd say "good job!" If it's written and published by adults, I'd recommend they reconsider their profession.
I lost brain cells listening to this drivel.

Didn't sound that interesting from the description but it hooked me from the start with stories from the first woman in space. Fascinating.
