Where does Dancing with Rose rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Top ten authors of all the books I've listened to-It is so real, well it is real, not fiction.

Initially, I found it hard to believe that anyone would continue to stay in a job that was "undercover" to get iformation to write a book.The job is basically maintenance of Alzheimers' patients And it is, literally, a sh-tty job.

But there is a personal aspect that the author has to deal with. She does it w/ honesty and guilt.
We all have our "I -wish- I- would- haves." She does too.

I liked this book better than "Still Alice." It is an older book.

The disease is not. It goes on and on.

What other book might you compare Dancing with Rose to and why?

It reminds me of "Still Alice."
But this is told from a different point of view.

Which character – as performed by Ruth Ann Phimister – was your favorite?

All were good.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes. The observation about the clothing.
The author could sort of tell which patients had family members that cared about them by the condition of their clothing.
Buttons on shirts, or no buttons, for example.

I really liked this book.

Every Teenager Should Have To Read This!!!!!

What did you love best about Nineteen Minutes?

The fact that this could happen anywhere, to anyone, regardless of race or income-level.

What did you like best about this story?

This book portrays real-life bullying and the consequences, both as the victim is affected,
and the tormentors.
This book hit me hard enough to ask my teenage daughter to say One Nice Thing Everyday to a person to whom you would not usually talk to.

What about Carol Monda’s performance did you like?

Great performance, easy to understand characters.

Should be a mandatory read for all students entering high-school.

Don't like her show, but LOVE her books!

Would you consider the audio edition of Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea to be better than the print version?

The audio is hilarious, as she narrates it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea?

This book is too good to select one part.
But, if I had too, it would be massage story.

Have you listened to any of Chelsea Handler’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have listened to all of her books.
This one shines above all.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I about wet my pants laughing.
No other book has made me laugh out loud.
I have grinned, but not laughed.
OOps- wrong-Burroughs has.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. But not the book version. It is too wordy, w/ no inflections of emotion.

What about Coleen Marlo’s performance did you like?

Even-toned, but w/ great voice inflection.
I just listened to a different book on CD and the narrator blasted half the time and spoke in a whimper the rest of it.
This is an easy listen.

The part that affected me was one line,

Have not seen the movie.
I re-listened to this about two months ago, having listened to it about 5 years ago.
You will not forget this one.
It gives me chills.
Only snakes give me chills.

Better Than I Expected

Very good. I had almost sworn off S. King.
There are a lot of characters in this book, but don't let this stop you, as many do not survive.
As always, King has a way with words that bring scenes to life.
A very good value for just one credit!
