Historia
Booker T. Washington fought his way out of slavery to become an educator, statesman, political shaper, and proponent of the "do-it-yourself" idea. In his autobiography, he describes his early life as a slave on a Virginia plantation, his steady rise during the Civil War, his struggle for education, his schooling at the Hampton Institute, and his years as founder and president of the Tuskegee Institute in Alabama, which was devoted to helping minorities learn useful, marketable skills.

Everyone needs to read this book! Impactful!

With the left stirring the the race pot, and portraying a false narrative that America is racist: it was so refreshing hearing from a man who was a slave, (goes without saying that he was a black man, fathered by a white man) who overcame with hard work and determination, became one of the nations most celebrated man of his time: The American Dream!
Today, we hear say, “ hard work is Racism”
Booker T. Washington taught his students at Tuskegee to delight themselves in hard work showed them it was the basis for their success, and that there was no shame in working, and skin color had nothing to do with Recognition, a persons work ethic did!
What an amazing man! “To Great to be little”
How low have we come!

Historic references made it really believable, especially if you like Churchill.
Fact: Churchill visited the USA as a personal guest of Eisenhower at the age of eighty-four and was entertained at the White House. Not in in his childhood, nor was especially close to his mother. His fondness was for his nanny.
It was a nice spin on a factual event.

A trusted confidante of the president, Sanders advised him on everything from press and communications strategy to personnel and policy. She was at the president's side for two and a half years, battling with the media, working with lawmakers and CEOs, and accompanying the president on every international trip, including dozens of meetings with foreign leaders - all while unfailingly exhibiting grace under pressure.

Skillfully written and read. More than her service to this great country, I appreciate so much her dedication to her role as a mother to her children. What an amazing lady. God Bless

The Grey Man at it absolute worst.
Revisado: 04-20-20
I don’t know how this book reads: but as an audio book it was a hard listen, not due to the narrator but to the writing! It was painful! Mark Greaney was not true to his character. The first person narration made Court seem juvenile, when we know he isn’t, nor is on hundred percent sure of himself either in other books which gave him a human side that I enjoyed and was refreshing aspect to Courts charter in previous books. Completely failed his character.
I hope this kind of writing does not continue, makes for a horrible listen.
Will absolute recommend books one through eight though. I was glad to see that he also writes for the Jack Ryan novels. That’s what his writing reminded me of. I haven’t read or heard any of the ones he’s written of the Ryan books yet. Though I’m a bit hesitant after listening to this one.
Hoping for the best.
