Chronic Illness sufferers need to read this!
Revisado: 03-11-24
If you have a chronic illness, like I do, you need to read/listen to this book. It won't change your life, I doubt any one book can do that, but it will help you feel less alone. It may even give you good ideas on how to handle your illness, how to see it from a different angle. It will help change your perspective when you're having a bad day. Karen Duffy speaks truthfully and poignantly about her experience living with sarcoidosis.
Ultimately it was nice to feel less alone in this chronic illness journey.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Funny and poignant

I knew a lot of his story, as my wife read his book first and told me all about it, but to hear him tell it himself, wow. With such heart and passion, sadness and humor. Such a good writer, such a good storyteller.
