INFO FOR THE EVERYMAN

Our Founding Fathers sought to create “ a more perfect Union.” It is obvious by the many quotes of these creative minds that they thought long and hard. We as a people should be most thankful for the opportunity they have afforded all of us. It is now our responsibility to hold dear that which they have created. Everyman should be required to hear the texts that Rabb has compiled for us: to learn, to understand, and to live.
This is a work you can listen to over and over again to inspire you on a daily basis.

Interesting, but not me

I am lucky to have lived a safe, loved life. Many of the experiences in this story are in a life I can completely understand. It was a good, interesting story; but not me.

Too strange

Crazy story, not believable. Pretty gory. Dumb ending. Can’t recommend it. Use credits elsewhere.

Picked up pace

Started slow, but pi CB picked up the pace as we moved on. Left many open issues to be able to create the series.

Can’t go wrong

There aren’t many narrators easy to listen to than Mike Rowe; and when he’s reading his own writings it is a great combination. Great true stories, interesting who-done-its, and his usual humor. You’ll enjoy this one, “at least that’s the way I heard it.”

Unusually entertaining

Not sure everyone will like this. I really did. I think the narrator made it work. It is a very strange approach to telling early Scandinavian history.
It took some time and concentration to get involved but in the end it found it unusually entertaining.
Michael Crichton winds an interesting tale in the person of a Muslim traveling to the land of the Vikings. Simon Vance’s narration kept me interested.

Mundane

Having enjoyed “The Martian” I pre-ordered this book. Disappointed. Read well, but story slow, mundane. Not a good follow up to a great story.

A Real Believer in America

I fear we teach too little about this important Founder of our Country. He believed in the patriot's cause and dedicated his life to so much of it's creation. The author did a very thorough job in developing Hamilton's story.
A great history lesson as well as s great auto
Biography. And you can't ask for a better narrator. Five Stars well deserved.

MacGuiver in Space

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I listen to dozens of books a year and this has got to be one of the best I've listened to in the past few years. I've been recommending it to everyone.

What did you like best about this story?

The main characters exists in a world he creates for himself. He is MacGuiver in space.

What about R. C. Bray’s performance did you like?

compelling, made you feel you were right with the character, experiencing his dilemnas, savoring his achievements.

Any additional comments?

Almost wish there had been another chapter.
